The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. So, after that short flight, I decided to continue flying around the US. This time, I took the Project Airbus A319 (yeah, I know, not as good as Aerosoft's, but much easier to fly for me) for a spin on Spirit's Flight 138 to Orlando. I also decided to give DX10 a go, and it was pretty good, though I got some kinda nasty graphic spikes from time to time once I took off. On the other hand, it runs very stable and FPS friendly, so I don't think my computer is THAT bad  Anyways, here are the pics. Hope you like them ^_^ Everything set, time for the tug to come in and push this baby bus back Taxiing to 9L Where's the horn? Off we go Cl…

  4. I bought this last night, and after reading the easy tutorial to start converting your 3rdP fleet to Shockwave...here is one of my results. This is the Carenado Stationair 6 II, in amphibian. From the standard Carenado lights (all of them), to Shockwave Redux...is phenomenal! From the light beams of the twin landing lights on the nose cowl, now diffusing into the atmosphere, to the great ground throw of the lights, as well as hotter, clearer nav and strobe...all in all...vastly superior to any default or third party aircraft light solutions and display. Added bonus, once you upgrade (free to v1.2a at the A2A site)..is that your runway lighting system, can also get the S…

So I decided to take a leisurely spin in Alabeo's new offering - The C404 Titan (while there are a few issues - it is still a fairly enjoyable aircraft, especially with the F1 GTN 750 integration). Cruising along at 8000 feet Name the area, and or Airport.

  12. Hey guys. So, it's been awhile since the last time I did a flight on FSX. Between now and then, and HDD Crash and all my data got lost. So, I reinstalled everything, rebuilt my AI Traffic from scratch and I was finally able, after quite a few months, to log some miles on my flightlog Still a long way to go in terms of how much I can improve graphics and all that. So, I took the Carenado Citation II for a bunny hop inside Florida. 10 minutes of Flight. Last minute checks. A blast from the past while we taxi to Runway 8L Sky's the limit B) Very quiet KMIA today Approaching KFLL's 9R After more than 6 months without flying, this w…

Thanks to Bert Pieke for his effort to retrofit the Carenado Hawker with the excellent F1 GTN750! I really love the look and feel of this plane, and now it´s a pure joy to fly it IFR with the GPS:

Kinda random... this was from the Light up the USA Vatsim event on Sat afternoon. Pretty sweet. There were a lot of pilots at DEN but since the airport is so huge huge huge I think I only saw three other aircraft during landing and taxi lol But I finally got assigned taxiway AA so I taxied under the bridge thing! The Flightbeam rendition seen here is just stellar! Can't wait for KMSP!
