The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

CAL1130(ZSPD-ZULS) heads for "high country" and one of the highest airports in the world in Lhasa Tibet. The Lhasa Gonggar Airport is 11713 feet AMSL and you guessed it, in the middle of absolutely nowhere

Airport by: Flight Ontario Carenado B58 Baron for FS9 REX2004 Extreme/Overdrive, Active Sky Evolution, Bird's Eye View, Ground Environment Pro, Ultimate Terrain for FS9, and finally, lakes by The Creator aka; ...the Man upstairs! ( -_- ) The wind causing those waves as well.... Actually...He made all the graphic designs and engineering...but merely leased it all out to us...with the only cost asked in return, is to keep the peace! Hallelujah! Cheers! Ses

Just a few more in the PNW area - shots were taken pretty much from the same perspective as they were taken while hand flying the aircraft.

Hi there! Another late afternoon approach, another flight sim experience in XPX that made me really happy! ;-) I hope you like it as well! FlyJSIM Q400 (it might not have the system depth and fidelity of the Majestic Q400, but man, it flies so smooth!!! ;-) ) OSM Europe HD Mesh v2 Treelines & Farms v2 UrbanMAXX 3D SMP v2 MaxxFX tweaked art controls: And here are two bonus pics of default EDDF ;-)

This latest Update to Outerra was primarily bugfixes leading up to the upcoming release of (Tada!) 3D clickable cockpits and more. Most of the changes were under the hood, like greater CPU efficiency etc, but there were also some cosmetic changes as well to the overall scenery coloration. All in all, Outerra continues to push forward. These pictures cover some different areas as well as planes. A reminder that Outerra is intended to be a whole, living world, from the grass up, not simply a flightsim.

Tower advised me to keep American traffic in sight.... I did, and noted the pilot's eyes were hazel color as he flashed by, and I coulda' swore the woman sitting in 2A was Goldie Hawn!.

Testing some new CFG settings on a LAX/DEN hop. I forgot quite the important thing on departure, look at the first picture and you'll see it  That'll teach me to do the checklists by memory. Comments welcome!

Coming in for the 06L runway, approach/final/landing/taxi-to-gate Hope you enjoy! FS9/REX 2004 Extreme with Overdrive/Active Sky Evolution/Ultimate Terrain (UT) for FS9 with night lights enabled/ While recording, after landing, I pressed the / key to drop the spoilers...but they didn't on the aircraft...so nope...didn't taxi to the gate with them deployed on purpose! LOL. (These are night scenes, so I suggest you adjust your monitor brightness/contrast settings as required and better if you single-click the picture to bring the largest detail to view) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...even if you love X-Plane 10 just as much as I do! ;-) Take these screenies as an evidence, that both sims can coexist on THE SAME MACHINE! ;-) (And I even have good old FSX installed as well...) I use P3D 2.2 mainly for GA fyling within FS Economy. FTX Global (without Vector on these screenshots) looks so much better in P3D. It just looks so lifelike, and has this wonderful depth, especially combined with cloud shadows. I use REX 4 texture direct with clouds in 512 resolution and FS Global Real Weather as my weather engine. I hope you like them:

REX2004 Extreme really does a nice job in FS9, driven by ASE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This was a day flight...but forced into DUSK time zone for the snaps. ------------------------------------------
