Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Living in Dallas, just off the North East corner of KDFW, you can imagine I see my share of beautiful, shiny metal AA birds on a daily basis. Sadly, this iconic livery is soon to go the way of the Dodo...and we'll be left with what the brain-trust at AA decided was a suitable replacement... Anyway, without a doubt...the planes that literally clog the sky around here are this little beauty that has been the workhorse of the AA fleet for decades: This beauty, BTW, is the stunning work of our own local favorite FS9 champion, Ed Cox, aka edetroit. This is the FS9 version, ported to FSX:SE, and I must say even though this paint is back in the 1024 days, she still looks…

Waiting for my wife's turn to line up...roll, rotate, climb-out,...and New Brunswick in a couple of hours, .... (WestJet has a regular service between these two airports twice a day.) Two years ago, I rode my Goldwing out from Michigan to meet her, as she crossed the border and drove to Hamilton along Hy 403, and took this very flight out to Moncton Intl. I rode out two days before the flight, and met her there, loaded her Goldwing travel bag into the right rear luggage compartment, took her full-face helmet from out of the top trunk, both connected our intercom's, and off we were for the 20 miles or so to the border of Nova Scotia. We did all of Nova Scotia, including t…

CPA159(VHHH-VCBI) is on the go at her HK home base with a flight to Columbo. AI interference(barely visible in shot 6...hate when that happens ) and some nasty wind shear due to thunderstorms nearing VCBI caused me a rare missed approach. Got her down safe and sound and the beautiful livery wasn't damaged in any way B)

Howdee all, Another day, another random departure/arrival kind of flight. Today we moved our operations East and departed from KLGA off runway 04 and unbeknownst to me, I dialed in an initial heading of 030 and flew along for a while then though, "hmmmm...going to need a place to land" so on the FMC I randomly entered in our arrival airport of CYQB and once finished tweaking my legs, I was happy to see I was pretty much on course. I didn't take any shots departing the New York area but will capture some on the next flight out. Enjoy the shots! Mike PS - I don't get around to it enough (but I'm trying to change that!!) and I just wanted to take a second to …

Finally got all the tidbits together and she's in the hands of the Library Mods...hopefully you'll see her soon, just click the link in my signature to grab her. This is a real cargo airline out of Brazil ...BETA=(Brazilian Express Transportes Aéreos)...I really like the livery. She was worn mostly on 707's and DC-8s (which I have the JF version and may put this livery on her as well). Sadly, she's another cargo company that has gone out of business, but she lives on in flightsim! Go make some sketchy South American cargo runs to some challenging airports in the region (El Alto in La Paz, Bolivia comes to mind?) And lets see some screens of the places you were able …

A few weeks ago I happened to read a book by German aviator and researcher Günther Plüschow. It’s not a modern book, it was written by him in 1930 and it talks in detail about his flights above the Andes in South America. His plane was a 1926 Heinkel HD 24W on floats. Argentina and Chile had in those years very few landable places, but many small lakes. He had his plane shipped to Punta Arenas in Chile in several crates and had to assemble it first before he could take off and photograph parts of the Andes G. Plüschow is the one on the float. The name "Tsingtau" was used, because he flew before the South American adventure as mail pilot in China Let the …
