The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Heading out of Bella Coola, before cutting the engine and finding some natural lift. If it all goes horribly wrong I can turn the engine back on, or in a disaster use the built-in parachute. VSkylabs very wonderful brand new Phoenix in XP11pb17 over Beti-X's amazing scenery.

Had IMC into Idaho County today. Breaking into the clear below the deck felt surprisingly real. These are default X-Plane 11 clouds with home spun ortho scenery underneath.

So with my FSX sim pictures folder nearing 10 Gb, I figured I should do some spring cleaning and whittle it down to a more manageable level. Here's a few from the 'cutting room floor' ........ Is it any wonder why we love this 'Orbx' thing ?

Everything seems to be working great. Good FPS, etc. Have the early morning, late evening cockpit shadow 2 line data ref installed. That looks good, too. No FPS hit. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi everyone, It's been a fair few months since my last post here. Having not touched P3D since summer last year, I found myself desperate to get back into the pilot's seat. The only thing holding me back was the propsect of having to spend a fair amount of time re-installing and tweaking... needless to say I went for it. My first few sessions were spent in the SS / POSKY 762. Happy flying! Grady.

Time to hit the beach. We're on approach towards the runway when this happens. The people on the right side of the plane certainly got quite the view. Clearing the fence. Would you really want to be standing back there. Touchdown. After a quick turn, it's time to get out of here. We're making the turn towards the runway. Lined up and ready to go. Powering up the four PW4062s and getting the good old Boeing 747-400 ready to go. And we're off.

Recently I've been downloading a bunch of free European photo scenery, and last week I picked up the A2A constellation. I decided to put the two together and fly a vintage 1948 KLM route from Amsterdam to Geneva -- the first leg of flight 361 here. Along with the plane and the photo scenery, I'm using: ORBX Vector FSGlobal Ultimate mesh Active Sky 16 with ASCA ENVTEX REX Worldwide Airports HD PTA Waiting my turn at a busy Schiphol -- vintage KLM behind modern KLM. Finally got clearance for 06. Up and away! Vectored back south. There's the airport again. One last look back at Amsterdam... …

These following are screenies at KSAN San Diego; all straight-shots with no editing just using the slider to change times of day. X-Plane 11 beta latest download today. I have chosen KSAN for you to see the water, buildings and mountains in one area: Boston Dawn: Paris Orly: LFMN Nice: London City: Heathrow (IXEG 737 Classic) £62: I am still a very early learner at the moment and X-Plane is not anything like FSX. You have to read the manual to get the information you need.
