The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

The Long Long Night With all this talk of the New Queen I thought I'd return to the first one, the PMDG FS9 744, still looking good and flying nicely after all this time. Back story is that Qantas had some tech problems with a few of their 380s so sent a 747-400 (ER fortunately) to Dallas. That means 100 less seats so cue lots of rebooking and disrupted passengers. We join the fray in Dallas waiting to bring the aircraft back (QFA 8). When the jumbo did this route regularly it used to stop in Brisbane but since the 380 it usually goes direct; which is what we're going to try and do. Going Westbound not only do we have 100 less seats but we're quite limited …

  4. OMG! I am blown away...the best total airport package, ever! I have just started my exploratory taxi-around...and in the first few moments, I had to keep stopping and looking at all the animation, OMG...passenger trams coming from the parking lot. Cars entering the property, airport support vehicles, employees running those services, and the MOUNTAINS....WOW....just in the distance. I am going to continue my at-taxi (taking my time) even before the first rotate off of the property. There is SO MUCH to see and appreciate. Unless you have a 1070 or better GC, with at least 8 GB's of RAM...well...I dunno....you might want to upgrade. This property at full Visual Effect…

Good to know that the 737-800NG in X-Plane 11 fully simulates chemtrailing, although I'm still unable to locate the switch in the cockpit where you turn them on or off, or where you add the weight of the chemicals in the hidden chemical tanks to the MTOW in the FMC lol. Oh no! I've just let the secret slip havnen't I? Now I'm going to have to swear anyone who sees these pictures to secrecy doh!

  10. The continuing adventures of 'Bouncing Brenda' on her third mission deep into Germany, when she encounters vicious flak over Lubeck which takes out a B17 in the low squadron with a direct hit to the starboard wing. We count seven 'chutes appearing from her before she disappears into the low clouds. Soon after, twelve bf109Gs come in for an evil head on pass with devastating results, but it doesn't end well for one of them as it collides with another Fortress in the low squadron as the rest of the formation's gunners blaze away, scoring several hits on the remaining bandits, before they can swing around for another pass... As much as I love the B17, and indeed the 109…

  23. This is my quick review (it's getting late!!) of the Aerobask Pipistrel Panthera v3 for XP10 and 11. All shots in XP11. I did forget to set volumetric prop but otherwise your addon looks identical (with the exception of extra liveries) in XP11. The release reminds me of my very favorite plane the Realair Legacy v2 in P3D. Like the Legacy, this Panthera is sexy and speedy. The glass panel is easy to navigate, and the controls are fairly intuitive. There is a bit of a performance hit because of the glass but I also have an older system. I'd recommend setting low or coarse on the GTN map page for lower res terrain if you have an older system. The Panthera cruises…

Today I did my first flight into LOWI for years, so I set up a short flight from LOWS (Salzburg) to LOWI (Innsbruck) with AS16/ASCA etc. This flight would have been much easier in a NG than a A320, but...never mind. The Good news was a straight out take off from LOWS but due to winds it going to be a 08 landing.....great just what I needed for the first time!!! So I took up my Captain's seat in the magnificent FSL A320 with Niki Air for the trip. Wish me luck! So let the boarding begine. Time for the push back. So you can have an idea what i'm in for.(PFD) more later... Taxi. Holding sh…
