The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Some messing around with the add-on clouds for xEnviro. Running the 2048 set. Quite nice I think, a definite step up over the original textures IMHO.

I postet a pic of that flight a few days ago, and I promised, to post more, showing the whole flight from LSZA to LSMA in Switzerland. I had to choose 20 files out of 50+, I´ve taken on this flight. This surely was an amazing sim experience! The lighting, the scenery... Sim is X-Plane 10.51 with xEnviro 1.06, the aircraft is the fantastic Epic E1000 by Aerobask, scenery is ortho photo scenery with ZL17, created with Ortho4XP. Thanks for viewing, I hope you like them! ;-)

X-Plane11 - xEnviro1.06 with SHD clouds. We really are getting somewhere with weather depiction in XP. The new shots of xE 1.07 with its new clouds looks amazing, but for now, these will do nicely.

  8. Getting better by the day as I figure out how to get under the hood a little and adjust things to my tastes. The new 4k clouds for xEnviro are a huge improvement. Still no where near AS16+ASCA quality or REX but a step in the right direction. Here is a small collection of shots I've been creating to document my rise from bland default XP11 to gorgeous P3D crushing hawtness. <3 Up over the Palo Duro Canyon State Park south of Amarillo, leaving KAMA-Rick Husband. I created KAMA for P3D/FSX and I am not working on it for X-Plane 11, complete with custom 3d Modeled buildings this time around. It is so much easier to create airports with XP11. I don't underst…
