The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

No, it's not the Flysimware nor Alabeo versions, just the freeware shakey jake, hence the functional VC, but the polished metal looks great! It seems to fly OK too, but then again I'm far from an expert! A quick VFR jaunt over the Easter weekend. Cheers.

X-Life's ATC doing its best to ensure that my 300-plus virtual holidaymakers and I do indeed end up being ex-alive, as it insists on vectoring me into the 11,500 foot high Sierra Nevada mountains whilst being told to descend to 2,600 feet on the approach to Malaga. It's a good job that A350 has a terrain profile radar lol... Passing Bilbao at 38,000 feet, before the fun ensues... Coming down into the mountain range and suspecting those vectors aren't going to end well... Hmmm, down to 2,600 feet eh?, well that doesn't look too good on the PFD's terrain profile display, and the cockpit audio alert is telling me I'm getting pretty low too... …

P3D 3.4 ORBX Global, Vector, PNG airstrips Digital Aviation FSX Do 27 Over an hour ago I have left Port Moresby and have finally reached the Highlands. I never tire of the lush green colours that greet us in PNG Ononge is the first strip we pass by on our way to Kosipe The next settlement is Woitape After a most enjoyable flight we finally reach Kosipe. It is highly advisable to check the “runway” first for any free roaming cows or pigs The bridge is a great spot for some fishing later on Oh how I hate this lonely palm tre…

X-Plane 11 pb9 has turned out to be a good stable release and I decided to take a tour around Poland in the default Cessna 172. N.B. The scenery is a work-in-progress (and has been for some time until I find the time to finish it) and covers all of Poland with accurate buildings, supermarkets, forests and lots of landmarks such as castles, churches, and town/city centres. It can be used on its own or for best effect with orthos generated with Ortho4XP. Some things are still missing such as certain bridges and some towns still left to do. It has been optimised to give good frame rates and I'm consistently getting 50-60fps with a GTX 1070, so it's much light…

I've been having a lot of fun with Aerofly FS2. It's really a fun alternative when you want to just fire up and fly around without a lot of preparation time and without worrying about fussing with tweaks and such. Everything shown here is default, with no tweaks or modifications (to the sim or the images) with the exception that both planes feature a repaint which is available online, with the exception of the King Air which has a repaint that is still a work in progress but will be available once completed.

Here are six recent shots in P3D v3.4.18400 (18 something - no hotfixes). The sky and clouds are my own. The weather is OPUS. The scenery is Orbx and the plane is the Alabeo C182 Cutlass RG II. (I think its a 182 )

Flying in XP11 here with SBA payware and freeware Ortho scenery. This nice G4 is freeware WIP from the author. The VC is usable but it definitely needs some TLC. None of the paints (which are pretty nice) come with a registration so I added this one. My first "touchup" in XP repainting lol.
