The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just showing some shots of the Premier 1A over Colorado and Utah. This little bird can almost keep up with the heavy iron. I increased my performance with it by lowering my texture res to 2048x2048. Can't see a difference at all but it yields better performance in the Premier. The first few shots, over Colorado, is from my scenery which can be found here at Avsim. Don't be afraid to try it if you think your system can't handle it. My old system did well with it, which was way below today's common specs. Hope you enjoy

I've discovered once more the joy (and some annoyances) of TrackIR. The 737 is now much more fun to fly, hence this made me press the "V" key quite often to capture a screenshot everytime I had that "wow-feeling" All pics have been taken over southern and central Europe in XP's default scenery, weather, rendering... Also, all pics are my personal repaints (except AA) which are not uploaded to any site. Remember that I'm running in 3440x1440 resolution so you'll have to click on the images to see them in full mode! Stunning American Airlines livery, unfortunatelly I've lost the name of the author and the original zip file: Sobelair, descending tow…

This is certainly one of the best VCs I've ever seen in FSX or P3D. If you don't have it, it's on sale. Jose

The new Reality XP GNS 530W integrates seamlessly in Alabeo's Mooney Ovation cockpit, the in-sim menu setup is both intuitive and user-friendly. I took the Mooney on a short flight from Klagenfurt to Innsbruck, the departure weather was pretty nasty and turbulent. GNS WAAS is fully simulated, meaning localizer performance with vertical guidance (LPV) instrument approach procedures can be flown.

I have to balance my posts here so as not to favor one sim over the other. For these screenshots I am using Xplane's default Cessna and my own scenery, generated with OrthoXP4. I covered much of California and Nevada so I could complete flights between the Bay Area and Reno. I resampled down to level 16 to save space, not sacrificing much at altitude. The Bay Area was overlaid with autogen, but it didn't extend to the eastern deserts in Nevada. I love the end result, gives me a large VFR area to fly over. John

I'm not a screenshot poster, but every once in a while my old pc surprises me with the performance I still get in FSX SP2. BTW, I looooooooooooove the CRJ :-) Cheers, Pete

Flying over the North Bay and the Napa Valley in my recently completed SF Bay Area project. For some odd reason, the city buildings and bridges don't display even though I used overlays and the scenery processed with no errors. The airports do display however. Might be due to the mesh changing elevations, my Phoenix scenery did not have that problems and buildings displayed. No worries, love the end result anyway, adds realisim to VFR flight. Hope you enjoy the screenshots! John

Freeware Germany photoscenery Austria Professional HD scenery Alabeo Waco biplane I have taken off from a small airport near the Bavarian town Deggendorf and head south-east towards the larger Bavarian city Passau. Both cities are located right next to the Danube river Over Passau. Here the rivers “Inn” (on the pics’ right side) and “Danube” merge. The river keeps the name Danube, but inherits the Inn’s color Passau is very close to the German border with Austria, so here I fly already in Austrian air space This part of Austria along the Danube is at least for me one of the most beautiful areas …

I created this scenery this morning, which roughly covers Maricopa County in Arizona, where I live. It brings photoreal flight into Xplane for a world of adventure. A short flight out of Glendale Muni, just to give a taste of what OrthoXP4 can do. It's nice having two sims which can do this, each sim has its own purpose and style. John
