The Flight Unlimited Series

Does Word format work well enough for everyone that would like to read the documentation that's being developed for our hobby? I don't know how many FU3 modders have Word.I have the full Acrobat 3 (granted it's not the latest) to create hyperlinked PDF files from Word documents if that would be useful. In order to have it come out correctly, Word documents must use the built-in headings (i.e. Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.) in order to build the Acrobat bookmarks along the side panel of the Reader, and Word cross-reference hyperlinks to build the Acrobat hyperlinks in the document. Word's Web hyperlinks are also supported.

I finally made it to SF, was doing figure 8's over where the runways intersect trying to get the challenge to accept I had made it. Well, all I got was "boom". SO, where is the mid marker for runway 19 in SF?Thanks, Jim B.

To all who helped, Indeed, all of everyones help with my original installation, was extremely helpful and the completion process is just about done... I have installed FU1 with no problem at all now. The only thing is that my Mouse and my joystick doesn't work..The only response I get even after calibration is some movement only in the upper left hand quadrant...And my mouse continuously moves towards the upper left hand corner as well... PETE..You helped me with the installation..any ideas for getting these two things to work for me..Like another patch..LOL.. Or anyone else out there who has any ideas where to get a patch or whatever else needs to be done...ThanksJ…

Hi Guys : After 2 years of trying to get DSL I finally got signed up and just now installed card and modem . Went to tech support to verify connection , and now I can't use it untill I get registered ,which won't be untill next week.So got connection .just can't use it .still on slow modem.Been working a lot ,not much time for flying or being on forum ,I manage to read it once a day though .All of you pilots are great guys,I know- I'm one too!!CaptRolo

Hi, I have installed the FUiiipatch (necesserily, otherwise my pc would hang up) and I cannot see any more the airport delimiting lines. I tried Shift+F11, Ctrl+F11, switching to the options menu and back to the Sim while on approach, I even tried switching to the desktop and back to the program, furthermore I tried all the possible combinations of settings and sliders but still nothing. The lines are shown when the sim starts and never again until the sim restarts from the desktop. I'm very frustrated because this has rendered all the airports with a non-paved runway useless. Hi Folks,Got 2 questions for you.Resviewer: I opened a res file for an aircraft(Markuses GB/ rt wing), went to textures, export-single using convert to psp, repainted with psp7, made sure its saved as 8 bit color, when I try to import with resviewer I get error code 1253. This is the same for all the textures and pallet.My SF region failed in a strange way: Went to quick flt and now I get "install fu2 disk" while flying and ground textures are fuzzy. I have the original FU1 and have tried many times to install this prog...Ok.. I am a genuis only when I stumble upon a hiccupp in a system and correct it...Unfortunately when it comes to DOS progs...I am an idiot... I have tried many times to install this prog and when I do in goes to copy data from the cd and I go into the directory I d/l to and don't see an executable file... But when I install and finish and it says to run FLIGHT you need to type FLIGHT...SO I do...and it tell me bad command...But when I check the directory in DOS it shows flight in the list.... Please help me with this. I seem to remember a technique for being able to see over the panel easier (Cessna 172). You had to type something in somewhere and change a value, but for the life of me, I can't remember how to do it. I'd appreciate a quick lesson on that. Stan

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to save all of my e-mail addresses when I want to re-format the hard disk ? In the past, I have copied them all down on paper, and then added them again after re-installation.
