I Have been flying FU2 for a couple of years. I bought FU3 last week. Amazing!!!Got some problems, though. Please can anyone give me some info...1. Sometimes FU3 does not respond to the yoke for a couple of seconds. Pain in the ##### during landing. How to repair?2. Shift-T (teleport to tower) does not work. Manual says it does. Who is wrong? Shift-O, Shift-I work fine.3. I downloaded the famous 2.0 patch. However, during running the patch it quits patching FLED.EXE with the message: 'Old file not found. There I was in M$ CFS2 at 12000 ft in a tight turning fight with a japanese zero when the screen freezes for about the 5th time :-fume . Well, cfs is off my system and FU3 is back on! I did miss those nice clouds :D

Hi,playing around I noticed that I have to put wind up to 40 Kts in the weather selection to get a runway change at the airport. ATIS tells me that there is just 10 or 15 kts. What do we have now. 40 or 15 kts.Also it is havey raining and ATIS still tells me that it is CLEAR SKY.What do you think about.TFT

I really need to replace my FU III disks (especially the 1st. one..Installation disk). Somehow I ruined it, and it stops loading. The other disks are fine, and I have FU II for the "full load" install. I've tried cleaning it, and even resorted to auto polish (someone told me that would remove all imperfections on the disk). Well, nothing worked. Now I can't enjoy one of my favorite sims. I've tried some of the sites mentioned in this forum..but no luck. I've gone to all the stores hoping to find it in a corner somewhere. Nope! I'm willing to buy FU III wherever I can find it. Please help if you know where I can get this classic piece of software. Why exactly did Looking Glass suffer a torrent of abuse when FU3 was released ? I mean, it wasn't exactly a BAD product was it ? If it was, why are we all using it now ?Chris Low,ENGLAND.

I downloaded a great DC-3 model from this site but when I use it you can see right through it. You have to look at it from the outside (f5,f6, ect.). So what you see is both wings from any angle. Any suggestions.

As you may know my disk C is dying slowly. I was down for a couple of days since it wouldn't boot. Eventually I got it working and managed to run Scandisk. It isolated more bad sectors and it's OK for the momement.Questions: When I get another disk to replace the bad one I'll need to reinstall Windows. If I start out with a clean disk my upgrade version of Win98 will not install. I know that there's a way to get around this by copying parts of my current installation to my healthy disk F and point the installation check to these files. What does the installer look for to decide that I'm eligible for an upgrade? I've got plenty of disk space and might copy the entire OS fo…

Below are a handful of screenshots from FU2 (running on a 100Mhz Pentium PC). Several of these show three AI models that I would love to be able to import into FU3. In my personal opinion, the Citation, Starship and F18 Hornet models in FU3 look absolutely rubbish. It is my dream to one day see the equivalent FU2 models soaring through the FU3 skies.Does anyone know if this is possible ? Hi Folks,Am trying to adjust heading on Lars' Beech 1900. When I try with the mouse, the knob on the HSI just jumps a little, then stops jumping. The needle on the HSI doesn't move. Below are three significant screenshots from FU2.1. Aeroflop DC-10. Notice the cyrillic letters, since this airline is the virtual equivalent of Aeroflot. This isn't the case in FU3.2. Excalibur 777. Notice the TRIPLE undercarriage, which is correct for this type of aircraft. Now look at the FU3 equivalent. This only has a DOUBLE undercarriage. Why did LG do this ?3.
