Can anybody point in which package the London Dome is in, or even send me the Gen files (bin and mips please)I thought on a recent evening flight that City airport had been overrun by beings from outerspace but as I approached realised my dome had turned a lovely shade of luminous green. Whatever I do I cant seem to get it back to its natural colour so either I overwrote something by mistake or one of my files has got corrupted. Please either attach to a post or send to my [email protected]

Hello all!I have moved the UK-region to my XP-computer, and some problems came up.I have a lot of UK-SEA problems with the outer terrain installed, and I can not start flights from the seattle region.Whatever I do, the sim put me in the middle of the outer region.(mostly Gran Canyon W,-maybe I will move there in the end.).I have also tried to change the Towerfreq. at southampton to 119.30 to avoid clash with seattle approach.I have also looked through the installed O.T airports to avoid freq.conflicts.The only thing I can do, is to move the outer region cfg.file out of the sim when flying in UK.Then everything is OK.That said,- I also have to move the UK-region cfg.file o…

Hi!I've installed Chris' Seattle 2004. FU3 didn't work any more. I had to uninstall FU3. Everything was deleted, also Registry cleaned. Then I wanted to reinstall FU3, but it doesn't work any more :-(The installation always cancels at 30%(full install), with the file l1ajaa.cpd(disk 2, the blue one). After 5min. of doing nothing, the computer gives me an error: "CRC error...can copy file"Please don't say that today was my last hour in a cockpit of FU3. And all that just because I always want more and more add-ons. Regards,Harry

Is there any interest in my Cessna 172 with some graphic updates? The updates are; new ILS indicator, new radios, a digital OAT indicator, and just to get the debate going again, a cowling on the VFR view. I made these updates to come closer to the Dreamfleet MSFS version.

Hi all,Ryan G-S here. I'm sure you "old-timers" will remember I used to run a website for FU3. I eventually tried to expand it and move it to www.flight3.net, but as often happens, real life interfered. As time went on, I found I had less and less time for my favorite hobby, Flight Unlimited III and my website. So now www.flight3.net sits dormant, waiting for some action.I got an email today from my domain registrar telling me it's time to renew my ownership of the domain. I figured this would be the perfect time to pass on www.flight3.net to anyone who wants it, hopefully to do more with it than I did. :) All I ask is that you pay the $10 transfer fee.Anyone intere…

Hi Tom, welcome back.Once the summer vacations are over, now I'm having a cold turkey about a chat, specially with the current wealth of new additions to FU3 our forum mates have created.I couldn't attend the last but one (regrettably I forgot about that), and the last one was sort of impossible because of glitches of some kind, if I remember well. Also, I think something was said that chats were to be cancelled until further notice... is that right? Thanks in advance, best regards.

Hi! First time here and thought you might be interested in a multiple sim user's observations about the scenery in the above 3 flight sims PLUS I need your help with a question. First the scenery. I purchased FUII and FUIII when they first came out, but was disappointed with both the frame rates and the quality of the graphics. I just had too slow a computer. Then I bought a PIII-700 and thought "now FUIII will be great"! Wrong! Frame rates were no longer a problem, but the graphics were ugly, probably my Nvidia GeForce 256 (I'm VERY fussy). So last Christmas I buy a P4-2.53 with an ATI 9700 Pro and get FS 2002 for Christmas. Now I was in flight sim heaven. I no…

Hallo! After some time with X-Plane and recently FS2004 I just rediscovered my old FUIII and I love it again. The atmosphere/mood is so great and unique! But I have a question concerning the runway lights at night. I just can see them being very close to an airport. Some lights appear some of them don't! Very unsteady thing.I remember having read it is related to the patch. (me using geforceFX + fu3depat.exe)So do I have to live with that or is it only my computer or is there a solution to this or...?Would be nice to get a response. Thanks!PS: Ah, the same thing with runway markings!

The latest versions of my two scenery packs have just been uploaded to the FU3 file library. They should be available within the next 24 hours.Around THIRTY airfields in the Seattle region have been extensively modified, and several more have had significant upgrades. The SanFran pack hasn't had the same amount of work done to it, but you will still notice numerous improvements and additions.I hope that you enjoy these two new scenery packs. I would be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has the outer terrain scenery installed. Are you still experiencing problems with a full installation of Seattle 2004 ? I removed three airfield packages that were included in…

LOS ANGELES - March 3, 2003 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that Teledyne Continental Motors, Inc., and Honda Motor Co., Ltd. I had FU III and took it off my system when I got FS 2002 and now FS 2004 (FS9). Why whould someone want to continue with FU III when FS 9 is available? FS 9 has better scenery, covers the whole world and has more realistic aircraft, weather and ATC. I do not understand. Stanner

I have finally made a decision. Ranger Creek needs to be upgraded. I am not happy with the Seattle 2003 version of this airfield for a number of reasons:-1. The runway is (and always has been) incorrectly located.2. There is no taxiway parallel with the runway pavement in reality.3. It is extremely unlikely that there is an extensive amount of runway and taxiway lighting at this airfield.4. There are too many planes operating here. The problem here is that moving the runway model involves the ability to use FLED. This one aspect means that I will NOT be including this upgraded version of Ranger Creek in my SEATTLE 2004 pack. If you would like this upgraded version of the a…

Current problem is that when I mirror to including the other side (wings undecarraige etc) I exceed the limit in polycount (>2500 !). That is why the image only shows the left half. I will continue work on bringing this down to the 1900 limitCheers, QvdG

Hello all,A couple of days ago we were on a train, coming back from Rome, and were talking with a friend... She had seen a strange plane, and didn't know what it was. We didn't understand which kind of aircraft it was, maybe you can help us? :-)She said it was a fat plane, it was white, and with more or less 7 windows on the side, and was flying very low... It had 2 propellers, and it was landing at the Fiumicino airport. She also made a drawing of it...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/32287.jpgI hope that some of you experienced planespotters can help us to solve the mystery: which kind of aircraft was it?And, another question... Do you know if it is available as a fly…

Friends,I have not posted for a long long time... but I evidentally made a fatal mistake. I installed FS 2004 and it put Direct X 9 on my system. Now I seem to have lost the ability to use my favorite sim... FU-3. When I try to start it, it locks the whole computer with a black screen. I am pretty much a computer novice, but I have read that it is almost impossible to remove Direct X. Am I out of luck with the this system and FU-3? Is there any solution? Is there any work around?Thank you in advance.Blessings and Greetings from Indiana!
