    Hi,I'm designing a small airfield, and it has a segmented circle. Has anyone designed one and have a macro available that I could use? Also, it is possible to create a flag with a certain texture and have it animated similar to a windsock? I know someone has mentioned before about the flag, but it was animated full time, without wind or with...Thanks!BTW: Airfield is M50 in Boardman, Oregon.

    For those scenery designers out there that upload add-ons that require other downloads from elsewhere, you may want to consider providing links to find the items needed. Filenames are not enough.That said, after extensive searching for "VOD", "Airport" and "Nova Gold" on the internet and finding nothing but endless non-fs related links, would anyone havven to know precisely where to get the texture packs for these?     I'm building an airport, and need to find a scenery creator that fits my needs. FSSC might work, but I'm not sure.I am going to be using some aerial photo's, custom buildings and textures, a new apron, etc. Can FSSC use aerial photo's as a background? Also, anyone ever make a tumbleweed macro!? ;)

    For me there are some basic needs when managing LandClass. I need to know where to place town/cities. For this I load the appropriate BGL from American Data Roads (FSGenesis site)and use it as a background in LWMViewer. Based upon the pattern of the "small" roads/streets I can accurately determine where various size/type population centers are. I also want to place a few fields properly as well. For that I have to use a different program with a black & white Terraserver picture as a background. There are probably other approaches but most rely on a background image. Should LWMViewer be able to support an non-BGL based (probably BMP) image to facilitate LandClass place…

    What's the best program for placing taxiway lines over custom GMAX aprons and taxiways etc? Seems that regardless of what layer I place my texture on when modifying the asm ADDCAT line code, that my taxilines always disappear under the texture.     Is anyone using the RWY12 Chopper Pads. Im having a problem with my aircraft falling through to their bellys. What do I need to do to have the aircraft sit on their skids. It's not a total fall through but just to the main fuelsalage of the aircraft.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks Jim

    Whenever I try to export a GMax model I get the next Error:MakeMDL XML ErrorMSXML4.DLL could not be loadedConfig files won't be readWhen I click on OK the error message is repeated and when i OK again I see the MakeMDL screen flash by.A .xml file and a .mdl is then made in the give directory.When I try to convert the xml file in a DOS window with the command bglcomp kas.xml I get an Internal Compiler Error C1003:Parsing document: kas.XMLError C2470: Unrecoverable error parsing XMLError C2006: Parse failed <0x80004005>Error C2003: Failed to process file: kas.xmlMSXML.DLL does exist.     I'm currently redrawing the islands of Kiribati so that they are more realistic. In most cases this means getting rid of FS9's version.To delete the existing islands, I use Ground2k4's (v.5.33) exclude to eliminate the old coastlines and then I place a big LWM water poly over the unwanted landmasses. I can then draw the new islands with no problem, and they appear properly in FS. BUT the new land doesn't appear in the FS map or GPS display.What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to have this new land appear in the map and GPS? When I add the missing airstrips, they look as if they're in the middle of the ocean!Thanks in advance for any help.     Why does my new airport show up everywhere but in the Go to drop down menu? I copied the scenery files to my old computer and bingo it works there.? A small thing but a real pain to get there. Thanks for any thoughts. Bill

    I tried created buildings with Gmax but whenever I apply alpha textures to the buildings I can see through my buildings and they aren't reflective. I'm trying to create a building with reflective gold windows in Gmax. I created an alpha channel using PS 6 with a medium gray for the reflective parts but those reflective parts turn out to be transparent instead. I also use Dxtbmp to convert my textures to DX3 format.

    Please excuse my ignorance here but my experience with altering airports is measured only in a few hours. Let me preface this with explaining the type of sim pilot I am. I'm the type that views an airport merely as a starting point to get up into the sky and enjoy the view so I've been neglectful at paying real attention to detail on the default airports that are sprinkled all over my Phoenix scenery.   13. I created a building using GMax 1.2 and I don't have the option to set the coordinates when I export it as an .mdl object file. I tried using SceneGenX to place my building in a particular location but all I end up with is a huge grey wall that is like 10000 ft high and 5 miles wide.     Typical load time for me is 2 minutes and 45 seconds after clicking NOT to clear Existing Files. Is there a way to limit the scope of the load? LWMviewer2 uses all of the real memory and about 1gig of page memory. Using FS2004 at the same time for positioning is then difficult. Limiting the scope of the initial load may allow less memory to be consumed.An unrelated question - a RAW landclass file is produced. Should LWMViewer2 compile this into a BGL or should I use the SDK tools?Dick Boley @KLBE

    Folks,An airport I am modifying has ILS in the default, but doesn't ILS capability in the RW. How do I delete this?At this point I have replaced all airport elements except the waypoints and approaches (I hope!), including those bits in the AP, AB and OB files. So if I have to copy those over and somehow exclude the entire default that's fine.I'm using AFCAD2, and I started with the default, so it has copied over the ILS, so I'll need fix that BGL as well.Also what is a GLS overlay?Jon

    Working with AFCAD2 for FS2004. Adding taxiways to 89WA (little grassstrip) in Megascenery Pacific NorthWest photoscenery.If you make some taxiways for a grassy airfield (on photoscenery texture) and you don't want any ugly textures of AFCAD superimposed.
