Working on an Erikson Aircrane that has a rearward facing pilot that can control the helicopter from that position. For the pilot to do so, I need to have the X,Y and Z control inputs reversed in order to fly the chopper correctly.Any easy way to do this in XML so that I can make a simple gauge that when the rearward panel is activated the control-inputs are reversed, then when the forward panel is activated they revert back to normal??Steve

hi,Does anyone know if the FS yaw damper actually deflects the rudder? I thought i could try and make a yaw damper input gauge by comparing the rudder deflection to the pedal movement but nothing seems to register.Any ideas?

Do you know if it is possible to simulate a landing gear failure that would prevent only 1 gear from extending?For example, I would like to make a landing with only the nose wheel and the left wheel down and lock, and the right wheel still up.Is it possible with FS9?Thanks.Eric

i fly an ifr 222 as a profession. i am trying to find a 222/panel etc that i can use on ms2004 for ifr procedural training. the panel is really all i care about, it needs to have a working flight director (autopilot) and a garmin 500/530. i have found a panel that shows the flight director but it isn't functional. i would pay for such an aircraft if its available. can anyone help? thanks.

I recently downloaded Cliff Presley's excellent Beech C-45 rebuild of simtech's Beech D18. It looks spectacular and flies well. But, I'm a VFR kind of guy, and find the view out the left side too constricted. Is there any way to edit one of the bmp files to enlarge the window, or even eliminate the panel above the window entirely? (Cliff doesn't know how to do this, either.) That might be less accurate, but it would be more satisfying for me. I'd be happy to do this myself, if I knew where to start.

I thought I'd have another go at using Gmax, and have re-installed the latest version and obtained a registration key. But I can't find anywhere to enter it.I have posted this query on the Gmax website, where there seem to be quite a number of similar queries, but Gmax support there seems to be pretty non-existent.Perhaps some Avsim users might know the answer?Thanks David

I would like my helicopter to have a rotor wash effect fx_rtr_lnd.fx to show up everywhere, not only over designated areas. I looked everywhere to figure out how to do this before asking for help here, but I'm at the end. I looked into many examples and I cannot figure it out. From what I understand, I can tie in an XML gauge to one of the lights in the aircraft.cfg file. To whom it may concern...Recently I've d/l Mike Stone's C-130H model. It's a great model to fly with low framerates, but I'm a little more interested in the [weight and balance] section of the aircraft.cfg file.The C130H has a published maximum payload weight of 42,000 lbs - by default, this section has a value of 5,660 from within the aircraft.cfg file. The pilot and copilot locations along the longitudinal axis is also incorrect at -9.83. Wouldn't this put the pilot and copilot aft - rather than in the cockpit?If anyone has a workable [weight and balance] section for Mike Stones C-130H, could you please let me know what values I need?Thanks in advance!

Im tryin to switch the Anti Ice on using a 3 way toggle switch, when it is up i want it to be on, when its middle and down i want it to be off. I found what simple 'macros' do. I extracted the Beech Baron files from the CAB file into Beech_Baron and edited them in a few places so they would work with CCW or CW prop rotation. Later, I copied the FS9 XML files to the same subfolder in "FS2002Gauges". I knew a few things had changed but wanted to see if anything would work running in FS2K2. First, an AC with a CCW and CW prop displayed RPM correctly. I'd also modifed the Prop Synch and it also worked. However, 'Fuel Flow' gauges read zero. I recently starting panel "assembly" using FSPanel Studio. I don't profess to be a puter whiz & designing gauges is beyond my limited cerebral capacity. I recently put togther a panel for a Lockheed Jetstar. However the RPM & EGT gauges I used are only lit for engine #1 for both gauges. I noticed using the FSPanel Studio editing function that the same gauges for engines 2,3 & 4 do not have the luminous tag turned on.First, is there a reason the designer did this? And secondly, with my "limited abilities" could someone talk me thru hacking the gauges to turn the flags on in each. Any help would be appreciated.Joe
