If you simply dont want them showing on your splash screen, try editing aircraft .cfg/ panel= to NO. All available but wont be seen on aircraft select screen

The DB is 6.21 is named differently. Nav_DB1 or something similar to that. Ive tried renaming to the same as 6.0.1 with no success.

In 20 yrs of simming, this has always been a highly debated and hot topic. I've yet to figure the optimum zoom. Real life aircraft make so much more sense! There can never be a correct answer just by pure physics.

Have you asked Aerosoft or PMDG?

Having used both saitek and Ch throttles 1000's of hours a yr. Ch more durable than saitek. Saitek last a bout two yrs. Ch 3 or 4 yrs. Would love to have Goflights but out of my price range.

ASN for FSXor P3D uses Simconnect only in a network. No need for WideFS.

Except if one require different profiles for different types of aircraft. Twins, tri, Turbos etc. Then FSUIPC is easy and marvelous. I use and always have used FSUIPC for my throttle setups and buttons and even some rotarys, if not Linda. p3D and FSX.

1st and foremost. network configured properly. File sharing, group name etc. Test Read from and write to shared files.

Andrew I believe you will find Linda is what your looking for. The software that interface your hardware with the in sim aircraft. switches and encoders. Example of a Linda Var input..Rotary HDG bug input + fast. Also there are many Linda specific profiles for specific aircraft as the variables can vary from one model to another. There is also an excellent tutorial on setting up Linda.
