Couple question for airline pilots...
So the question i have are: 1. How long does it take after you get to the gate and shut down the plane before you can make your way home or to the place you are staying? Is there much to do after shutdown? 2. Given multiple people use the same flight-deck, who actually cleans all the touch surfaces after use? Up to each pilot or are there cleaners that do this? Cheers and thanks for any insights!

FSLTL: Static injection only from 2026/04/30 due to lost API
Been using PSXT for a while now and love it... using the FSLTL models.. gives me the satisfaction of knowing where i am that the traffic is actually live at that very moment... if that sort of thing doesn't worry you then historic data is all good..

Procedure if "check" is not the response from PNF
I guess a question for the RW pilots here... in watching countless YT videos and real life videos, on takeoff in the A320 the pilot flying (at the start of the take off roll when advancing throttles to FLX) says something like MAN FLEX AUTOTHRUST SRS RUNWAY BLUE... and the pilot not flying responds with "check"... and off they go.. My question is, does it ever happen when the PNF does not say "check" (what does he say?) and what is the procedure after that? Ive not seen it in any video.. perhaps its a very rare occurrence? Thanks guys!

Fly the Line - Short Haul Edition: This looks promising
This has always been a bug bare for me as well... if you change your time in the sim to real time then you get pinged for being late or early.. Apparently, you'll see in your generated schedule, that your weekly assignments are either earlies or lates or day time... so the program is expecting you to follow that logic... For me though, i like to fly in the daytime to see my scenery that i bought! LOL... so as no solution that i could see, i switched back to APL2 for a bit... ill probably return to FTL but not until they make it easier to change the time (theres a good to fair chance there is a way but haven't discovered it yet!)

How to easily set up a realistic Field of View (FoV)
I use CP and adjusted my view to .47000 zoom which for my setup (65inch TV at 93cm to eye) gives me a realistic view point... so much easier to do in CP...

MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager 2024
Ah i see... i use chaseplane perhaps that is why... if you dont use chaseplane for views, you will need to make a custom view using the default key bindings and save that as the main view when you start....what ever system you use, it will only be because the panel isnt showing, thats why it wont trigger the popout...
-
MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager 2024
Let us know how you get on Hans... also, you cant do popouts if you are in any other view other than what i mentioned above... 🙂

MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager 2024
Not sure if this is the issue - your first saved view that loads should be one where you can see the entire MIP...all the panels clearly... POM requires the screen to show them all initially... if you have your normal view and the lower ECAM is not showing or partially showing, it will not work... try the above and you should be able to get the lower ECAM pop out no problems... Once you have the popouts done, then go back to your prefered pilot view...

Home cockpit mode - anyone use it?
Another question i have - started on my journey to make my home cockpit and noticed the home cockpit mode... what exactly does this do and is it the go when it comes to this sort of thing? I guess those who have home cockpits will know form experience or not Cheers

2024, how to create custom cockpit views please
Chaseplane is definitely the way to go... yes it is payware, but the adjusting, setup and absolute ease of use pays for itself instantly when you get the exact view you want... you wont regret biting the bullet on this one, especially if you are looking for the 'right' views...

Secondary flight plan - any point?
Hey folks, Simple question in the sim... is there any real point (apart form adding to the authenticity of a flight) in making a secondary flight plan and viewing alternates just in case? Just wondering as nothing seems to happen in sim that requires these... or have i missed something? Cheers Dug

Terr on ND WinCTRL AGP 32 shows on FO side?
Hey guys, For those that use this unit... Just got this unit today and performs stellar - only grip is, that the terrain on ND only toggles the FO side not the capt side! In simapppro there is no option from what i can see to change that... Is there a work around or is this a WinCRTL issue to fix?

FENIX experts - 2 questions
Hi there... i get these same messages from time to time and just ignore them... you're right - they are a pain and went down the same rabbit hole as you trying to fix ...but all is working fine so just ignore it until Fenix fixes it (if indeed a Fenix problem?) Me either! Keen to know the answer to that too!
