AI in FS20/FS24
Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to create something for FS20/FS24 using AI with the SDK ?

Nav databases & Simbrief
Thanks, that's what I thought but I feel there is a mis-match of the nav cycles somewhere along the line, Typically I would create a flight in Simbrief (shows my outdated airac cycle) then use LNM to import directly from Simbrief then export the flight plan from LNM into FS2024 format for use in the FS24 EFB. A bit convoluted I admit. When it happens again I trace the plane thru the various stages. Thanks

Nav databases & Simbrief
Thanks for your reply. What do you mean by "selecting Navigraph" I'm not aware of a selection option. Just to be clear my (now outdated) Navigraph cycle was installed thru the Navi-Hub into the community folder. I'm also using GA aircraft which don't require navigraph to be specifically installed say like the Fenix A/C. Regards

Nav databases & Simbrief
Like the OP I too would get a Navigraph sub once/twice a year. My experience was that it was great for a couple of months ie Sim Brief, LNM, FS24 and hence the A/C navigation DB were all in sync in respect of the flight plan, however after a while when flight plans were transferred via FS EFB into the A/C nav equipment there would be mis-matches usually around arrivals/approaches in the plan which could not be found in the A/C nav database (which I assume feeds off FS2024 nav data). So I wonder if the FS up-to-date airac cycle automatically supersedes an out-of-date Navigraph airac in the sim (in respect of GA aircraft) Can anybody confirm or explain please? Regards Brian

MSFS 2024 - Custom Weather - Wind Speed Increases
Is it possible, that although you have selected a custom weather theme, MS is overriding this with real world winds ie a bug I have to turn off live weather in the setting page before selecting a weather theme, seems to work ?

MSFS 2024 Turns One Year Old Today
Happy Birthday with lots of love. I remember you arrived a tad early and undeveloped and oh those sleepless nights fussing and fretting Those first few months it was hard to get you to do anything but now look how you matured and we have have great hopes for your future. It wouldn't surprise me if you went on to explore the whole world in remarkable detail or even went into space

Unusual CTD 2024 (now happening regularly)
Just a thought, MSFS24 can react to overclocks, and from my experience even an undervolted GPU, was your PC supplied already overclocked ?

Separating Add-On From Default Airports On The Map MSFS 2024
Space Monkey replied to HarryS's topic in Little Navmap | Little Navconnect | Little Logbook Support ForumHi, You can achieve this manually using Google Earth. In GE create a folder to contain you airport placemarks then search for your addons or MS handcrafted airports in GE maps and create a GE Placemark for each. When you have all your place marks in the folder save the folder as a KML file and import it into LNM.

Microsoft ATR 72/42 Current State
Thankyou for your help. I checked what you suggested and cleared out any assignments, alas to no avail. However I eventually chanced upon the cause and it was the way in which I was initiating the flight. If I choose to start a flight either not a he gate or "ready to GO" with engines running then condition levers are immoveable (a bug). Starting at the gate cold&dark was the answer. Regards

Microsoft ATR 72/42 Current State
Hi, Has anybody used it successfully in FS2024. I cant seem to set the condition levers to Auto using the mouse. The movement is erratic and they just spring back to Feather.

Anyone using Lossless Scaling.....
Yes its working on my install of Fs2024, although I'm questioning the need for it. My experience of 2024 is very smooth, the only exception is a bit of judder panning around a complex cockpit. My GPU is running hotter in 2024 even using Lossless. Regards

Custom Camera's in MSFS 2024
I see where you are coming from, but if you made an adjustment to 1 view point on 1 aircraft will that change replicate to all you aircraft or just the intended one ?

What new features of FS24 are you looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to the presence of rocks, pebbles on the landscape and passengers in the cabin, cant wait to make an emergency diversion when a fight breaks out in the cabin, unruly passengers hurling rocks around. lol

Please be aware todays (1 Oct 24) update can cause crashes
There are reports of MSFS crashing on start up after todays (01 Oct 2024) Avionics Update. Seems to be if you are using Navigraph data in the community folder. If occurs, remove it until resolved.

2024 Elephant in the Room
Is it not the case that the the aircraft and scenery that each one of us uses is downloaded as needed but is stored in local cache for future use, so streaming use would reduce over time if you stick to your favourites ?

Addons Linker - minimising Steam
Breaking News: It is working, my error (old age). In the start-up options I had added a line to start Steam first, which I realised was unnecessary so I deleted it and now all is good. Thankyou once again and my apologies for the false alarm. Kind Regards
