Yep, had the issue with frozen MCDU on the Fenix the other night with the text screen all misaligned. I updated to the latest FW and app. Hope they fix it.

I have both, BATC and FSHUD-2.0 Beta, now with Airport Config Manager. IMO, FSUD in terms of Take-off Vectoring and Landing Sequencing with busy Air Traffic, FSHUD is the clear winner here. BATC has the better AI ATC voices that sound natural and clear even with the Basic Voices. However, their traffic control/vectoring leaves a lot to be desired. But I think it is improving along as BATC is still in Early Access where FSHUD has been in development longer before BATC.

My opinion is I could care less if the content creators receive free copies of addons or money. I think it helps with buying decisions if the reviewer is honest, like Dave Nott, I like him. He's upfront all the time I've watched his channel. What I dislike is when they try to push stuff that you obviously know and that 90% of your channel viewers know, that what they are marketing/pushing it is a very bad addon to begin with. Creators should avoid this, they'll have more credibility and trust. Just saying.. I subscribed to one Youtuber when he started his channel when MSFS 2020 was released. He's a very popular Youtuber now and I really enjoyed his channel. But then he started pushing addons that were clearly not up to standards. What made stop watching him was when he pushed an addon that required a subscription that wasn't worth the $$ at all. It was like $15-20/month and it wasn't worth a subscription at all! Yet, he kept saying glowing things about it, clearly he was being bias towards the addon and didn't want to say bad things about it. It wasn't a addon like the new ATC addon, AI SayIntentions where you do have some value for what you're paying a sub for. The addon he was marketing was clearly a ripoff, yet he still pushed it to his viewers. It left a bad taste...

Yep, DVD version I have as well. Microcenter when they had flight sim addons, mostly Just Flight and a few PMDG stuff as well on DVD. The good old days!...lol

I agree. The price tag is...OUCH!..lol I do love the old classic 737-300-500's. Remembering the the old Classic FS9/FSX 'Pilot in Command' from Just Flight/Wilco. That was my first semi-serious flight addon. I miss flying it. It was fun!

Hi psolk, I have the Airbus MCDU. You'll need to install the Simapp Pro from wingwing, latest version. Once you have it installed and running, you might get a notification to also update the firmware for your PFP 7. It is really not that difficult. Just make sure that the aircraft you are using the device for is compatible, if it is, once you turn on the batteries in a cold and dark mode the device will turn on...easy peasy Hope this helps you out

I purchased direct from Aerosoft when they had a sale on the CRJ-500-700 for $20 a few years ago. Just went and downloaded their new app (Aerosoft One) to download and it installed. But it just downloaded into a folder called Aerosoft One Library. I'm not sure, but do I need to now place the CRJ plane folder into the MSFS 2020/2024 community folders manually? Just a little confuse since I always used a normal installer with Aerosoft addons in the past with serial numbers, etc.

Thanks Cpt_Piett. Interesting, I have the 7800X3D with a Gigabyte AX670E AORUS PRO X w/64GB Ram, WD_Black850X 4TB NVMe Storage and a GALAX GeForce RTX4090 Hydro White,360mm AIO Liquid Cooler. Wondering if I can use your settings? I'm looking at this new CPU myself, the AMD 990X3D. The 9950X3D is an option too but I think it might be overkill for me since I am not using it for other than for gaming. I'll probably just do a rebuild with a new motherboard as well and use the current Gaming PC to replace my old Intel 9900K with a RTX3080ti that runs in my racing rig/seat....😁

My advice to the OP is to just park the addon until it is fully completed, ie, out of "Early Access". That's what I did and now I'm enjoying a nice ATC addon that maybe the voices are not perfect or as good as BATC, which by the way, are very good, but it does an excellent job on vectoring and sequencing /separations to get your plane to final. Also, I would advise you stay away from arguing about BATC here, the word not allowed will chew you up into pieces!.....😁

100% Agree! I love it! Still waiting for the PFP 3N Panel I Pre-Ordered. No sign of them sending the email to pay for it yet but the Airbus MCDU is really a game changer for sure. Works as I expected with no issues at all!

Yep, I've had this happen to me on the Fenix. It is either a bug or I am too early pushing the button for a descent before the descent marker, like zachlog said. I use FSHUD ATC to initiate the descent when I get the call from "When Ready" which is sometimes 25-30 NM out. So maybe it is my mistake. I will keep an eye next time.

Yep!, those episodes with those great actors were all great! The Robert Culp episode where he's a GM of a football team is one of my favorites, with young owner Dean Stockwell. Yea, when I said I watched them all, I meant to say I've watched them all more than once!

Love Columbo, I think I've seen them all. The one with John Cassavetes, Peter Falk good friend, was my favorite (Étude in Black) These Dean Martin Roast were great!...Looking at them now, it is like I am looking at a Walking Mausoleum. All these celebrities/Actors are now all gone.

For Global Shipping if in the USA, you pay for shipping (Fedex}. Mine was $36 + $129.95 = $165.95 Ouch!...lol and I paid yesterday for the Pre-Order Airbus MCDU. So it is in progress to ship anytime soon. For the 737 PFP 3N (Panel of Flight Plan) at $136.45, this I pre-order through the USA option and there was no shipping cost. . I don't know why it switched on me from Global to USA...the website was very slow and hard to get around but with this shipping option, this will take longer to ship, I believe 45-50 days?.. But you won't have to pay for the shipping cost!..So if you're not in a rush to get it, this is the best option to save on the shipping cost.

Too bad that Avliasoft EFB is not supported anymore. I was about to purchase when they announced they would stop support. I was running the demo and I liked it very much. It also worked with X-Plane and you can use it on another computer with FSUIPC/ WideClient. I can understand why Bob and Ray love the app. IMO, it was...still is! a unique addon for MS Flight Sims and easy to use and it looks good too! . I whish I would have purchased before the announcement. My regret is not buying it years ago...☹️
