  1. Survey results were a bit depressing, but as per a few other responses here have found P3D super stable and have many pay-ware add-ons that I'm happy with and don't fancy buying again in MSFS despite the eye-candy. @Baber20 I'd second ORBX FTX Global. Oh and P3D v5.3 too version wise. If Orbx isn't your thing and you have loads of disk space and fly mainly in one or two countries/regions, do check out the photo-real/auto-gen from https://www.fcscenerys.com/newhomepage
  2. Hey @Matt Sdeel I don't have the RealityXP add-ons running but I do have the Flysimware F50 and it runs sweet in v5.3 Be interested to hear tho re the GNS stuff if anyone does get back to you
  3. think I've got most of these @davidk64 DM me if you still looking for them and I'll send you a Google Drive download link (not sure on the formal distribution details of them)
  4. Nice one Ray !!! love the fuel cost tally too, nice idea A little disappointed though that you didn't visit us in New Zealand
  5. Nice work @Ray Proudfoot I also have a paid for copy of this and would love to know how also for my own use
  6. That looks like standard Orbx EU to me, quite different to the Swiss FC Scenery I downloaded. Are you sure you activated it correctly?
  7. an error when extracting the ZIP? did you buy a copy of the Utah state or is it the demo copy? either way only thing can suggest is re-download the ZIPs again?
  8. what do you mean by "CRT-issues" ???
  9. deeknow replied to jcomm's topic in Hangar Chat
yep same here, was seeing em all afternoon and evening yesterday, forum and files area, seems ok this morning NZ time
  10. Nice shots Andreas. It's a not-so-new project now really as he has been publishing areas for 12months now, there are a number of threads in the P3D forum area here too with more screenshots and discussions. Definitely encourage you to buy a few after trying the demos, some excellent work from the creator Fernando. Also, he's very ill at present so any purchase at all will help him with his health concerns.
  11. not sure sorry @Luke I got mine direct from the author after making the donation, ping Shez direct on the forum maybe?
  12. Legend !!! that was it. The XML was still in the v4 folder as you suspected. All sorted now, thanks alot.
  13. @blaunarwal Nah it's over at the other terminal
  14. fabulous @blaunarwal cheers for sharing that, I'll flick ya some screenies of the car-park (and roadways leading to car-park) issue, is occurring for me in v5.3
  15. Just grabbed the Europe bundle. Happy to support Fernando, esp given his health issues. His add-ons have renewed my interest in simming on P3D, years of enjoyment left in the old girl
  16. Lovely shots !!! and cool wee machine. Saw one IRL at an air-show a few years back, those engines are pretty noisy if I recall correctly ?!?!
  17. Thanks @FXDWG all sorted, heard from Shez soon after making the donation, scenery working well in v5.3 apart from one area of texturing on one of the car-park buildings but not worried about that. Very happy to have a more realistic DTW finally.
  18. Great to hear @FXDWG I will defo fire a donation through too now and grab a copy, lots of interesting movements to replicate out of DTW aye Have just sent a donation through via Paypal, hopefully hear back from Shez at some point, doesn't look like the forum has been used a lot lately? How do you guys contact them generally?
  19. Good that you found it Dexter, yep 1.7.1 is the only one that seems to work reliably for me on 5.3 .. is usually after some 3rd party scenery installer has stomped over it w v1.8
  20. you should find it a lot quicker if you Zip up the texture folder, copy the Zip to the new drive, and un-zip it there
  21. That would be awesome thanks. I have another freeware solution at prez but not great. For the record in future should the original developer ever see this post am happy to make a donation if you were to contact me
  22. I bought their KPHL a few years back and works well, but also tried contacting them a few times about the KDTW P3Dv4 Beta which never got released thinking might be able to donate to get a copy but never heard back after trying to contact a few times over last 12months so gave up.
  23. I allocated a "limited budget" couple a weeks back for Black Friday this year .. have well n truely busted thru that (PS to stay on topic .. that included recent purchases of Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona and Iraq from FCScenery)
  24. I have a number of their Pacific airports, as well as Nagoya (Japan) and Jeju (south Korea) bought them over the last few years for FSX initially and then P3D and all are very nicely done. I'm also still on P3D primarily and would have bought KSLC on sale but it is pricey on sale as you say and looks like it's missing the new terminal and apron layout. Can understand that the developer isn't likely to want to update it after all this time, fair enough.
  25. @dufus01 good on ya for supporting the dev !!! you gonna need a room full of NAS servers tho to store all that stuff and it will take 12hrs to load before every flight Seriously tho, I tend to swap in/out the areas/regions/continents I'm about to use from external drives rather than have it all on the PC at once. Countries (or US States) tend to vary from between 20 and 150GB each depending on detail provided.
