The F33 is very nice. I fly it a lot.

Yep it's one of the only 2024 planes that is decent from them.  The Dakota is the other.

The B55 looks pretty sweet.

"looks" being the operative word here. A year ago this would have been instabuy for me, even from Carenado, given that I flew them IRL. As would have been the T210. But as of recent they only release "pretty sweet looking" aircraft, with no obvious intentions to give us a properly working product, or at least to fix them in due course, as the did with some of the earlier 2020 aircraft. Maybe they're snowed under with all the work given to them by MS, or with their own long back catalog, but as Ryan said above, no money from me Mr. Carenado until you start fixing your recent "sweet looking" aircraft.

Luckily BlackSquare came to the rescue, even if a 58 isn't quite the same.

I fly the Carenado CT210N and love it. I have several other Carendo aircraft and they are all useable and flyable 😛

This 172 is actually kind of nice in 2024 too.

It's very broken from an avionics standpoint.  The Aspen (which is actually modeled semi nicely), doesn't provide actual course and track guidance.  The CDI needle (the middle one that swings left and right to tell you if you're right or left of course/track) is INOP.  This is a major bug.  In fact it happens both with PMS/TDS GTN and the default WT GNS.

Additionally, there is NO vertical glide path displayed on the Aspen during an RNAV approach.

I actually sent Carenado pictures of all the issues some time ago.  Most of their planes similar issues even with the analog HSI.

So if you want to fly it for vfr only it's fine.  It's a cool looking cockpit and plane.  Sounds are okay but not amazing.  There's a slick 4 blade prop mod as well by ZachB.

Basically what I am doing. Ridiculous though Carenado refuses to address bugs, apart from some small fixes now and then. They might as well close their whole Submit a request page...

I think a lot of the contents of the Premier 1 update from today came from their Submit a Request page but I think they were probably just overwhelmed this time. Most people just moan and do nothing about it but I get the impression that those who bought the Premier 1 were much more proactive than usual.

Well, then I suggest everyone with a gripe about bugs and shortcomings in previous releases does a suggestion on their website. They could become so much better! The way things stand they probably earn enough to even care.

With the (apparently...) huge success of MSFS nowadays, competition is growing.

I'd be concerned if I'd invested money in Carenado as a company 😜😂

Not going to happen. You only have to look at YouTube and Facebook to see the multitude of fans they have who will buy anything they do, now and forever more. Cool Avsim users will be their smallest market by far 😉

Sadly I still go on FB and yes people are like "OMG the c210 is the best plane ever!"

That is one of their buggiest.

But I just saw a patch go out for the Premier.  That's amazing and I wasn't expecting it at all.  Hopefully they fix their older addons too.

As always.....you guys are like popping a teen age pimple. My frustration is popped. Thanks so much for the community of over a couple dozen years. And thanks to Bert Pieke who Carenado owes 90% of all there profits over the last 20 years. He and some other VERY SHARP simmers have made Carenado's aircraft pretty good ....WITH there fixes.

Carenado....you have INCREDIDBLE LOOKING AIRCRAFT, and thanks for that. You have word not allowed off 1000's of flightsimmers paying $10000's of dollars for non working aircraft. I would not doubt if it reaches over $500,000. AND STILL????????????????????????????????????????????
