Regarding the popping this isn’t just a third party addon thing, it happens with default scenery.

and the Devs have had months to prepare for those LOD differences too - as it’s been known for ages

Thanks for that. Just popped over there and used it. I have avoided the official site after the first few times back when it (2020) launched as I just found it visually unappealing and with too many posts I just felt a bit too shouty.

Fired up 2024 today, seeing as there have been updates. Tried to do a flight from KLAX to KDEN. When i selected KLAX from the world map it CTD.

Tried doing flight after firing up the A333 my frames went from 120 to 22 and all the ground vehicles around me started flopping up and down. Ffs.

NO, never. And I use the ATC window every flight.

NO, never. No blurred textures and no blurred PG. None, not ever. It's perfectly stable in 2D and in VR. I am especially happy that the textures are not slow downloading. I have stated before that I must wait after entering the flight and do the normal prep, at that time the textures all load. and by the time I fly they are perfect. And stay that way.

NO. As a matter of fact the ground vehicles behavior is far superior to 2020. They don't cut in front of me for no reason during taxi. I have seen them stop and wait for my plane to pass before crossing. When I call for the fuel truck, that truck will stop and wait if a grounds crew guy is walking in front of it. It will wait until the crewman is out of his path and then continue on towards my plane for refueling. I have never seen anything like this realistic behavior in 2020. If the crewman just stands in the same place, the fuel truck will back up and go around him. This is all new to me in 2024.

I guess you have a special version of 2024 then because my answer to those questions is YES, YES and YES.
- my ATC window almost always showing random positions in the comm history instead of the last communication.
- I had my fair share of blurred textures on various flights.
- Also a big YES to the 3th question. It runs right through the crewman although he doesn't seem to suffer from it so he can continue his work.

I didn't watch it because I know very well FS2024 issues anyway, having spent already 65 hours with it but the word pathetic sounds rather disrespectful.

These guys don’t test their software. At all. I would be very excited if another developer took over this project.

Lol, this review is utter rubbish. Just look at his other videos. Guy seems to "specialize" in coming up with clickbait youtube titles:

I think they made a choice with 2024, not to give it to beta testers like they did finally with 2020, after users start complaining that the patches were buggy. The reason 2024 wasn't given to beta testers, is they probably anticipated the beta testers telling them that it was bug filled and wasn't ready for release, and they didn't want to hear that.

I am also reinstalling MSFS, I will keep both until '24 is fixed.
