PMDG 777F MSFS 2020 Released Dec 6

Featured Replies

I love the Fenix, I'm a very satisfied customer

but a triple 7 freighter is just so much more interesting IMO, but we all want different things

only problem I have at the moment is the "cabin" where the seats and coffee machine are doesn't light up at night as far as I can see

  • Sixteen pages of threads...and plenty of nay-sayers. Nothing invokes more emotion here on Avsim than a thread involving either PMDG or FSLabs. I bought the 777F on day one...not my usual MO.

  • I ordered a burger for lunch today and when I ordered a second one, they tried to charge me the full price. I said no thank you and walked out. I'll never go back again after being treated that way.

  • That's a crock of word not allowed

OK no more talk about the Fenix.

I can't affford to learn a new plane.

And enough about burgers.

You guys are making me hungry

Just checked that - you need the Cabin/Utility power ON in the cockpit. Then control switch for it is on the panel between the Door 1L & Cockpit access, bottom left, Ceiling Lights...

you cant accept PMDG are no longer the king of the hill

...absolute nonsense and the reason being the first ever PMDG product I ever bought was in 2023. Sorry to burst your bubble.

After currently seeing MSFS2024 is more in line with XBOX users

It isn't anymore more than 2020 is.

You forgot, in MSFS the 737-800 includes the 737-, two freighters BDSF , BCF, and the BBJ  Executive jet,  That is 4 different aircraft for $69.99

You're right, of course! 🙂

Just disregard - I didn't have the full set of facts for my 'claims'... I was just wondering, about the pricing structure.

Time to dig out the Airline2Sim Boeing 777 Training Course (I really love Myron!). 🙂

Happy flying, everyone!

But boring to fly, it flies itself.

I have to ask, what do you do in the PMDG where it doesn't fly itself? I have the 737 and I thought it was just as automated. I'm not being funny or snarky here, I honestly want to know.

I manage all aspects of flight, descent profiles, speeds flap settings, trim settings,  you know just pilot stuff like I do in any aircraft I fly in a sim or real life.

Wait, there is a coffee maker?  🙂

I do agree, I know I said I wouldn't but there is something intriguing to me about the freighter ops.  Great excuse to fly in/out of Anchorage in the winter...

I said I wouldn't but I probably will LOL...

One non PMDG related question but can GSX handle Cargo ops?

Have a Wonderful Day

I hope it doesn't take them a year to get it ready for 2024. I'm going to use whichever comes first probably. Either iFly or PMDG. It all depends on PMDG and what they may, or may not charge.

so you don't use Vnav , Lnav and fly a modern airliner like a 707 or 737-200?? yeah right just use the VS button and calculator to calculate your descent profle? I bet you also fly it VOR to VOR. very unrealistic.

Yes. Since the P3D times, so basically almost like ever.

The proof is in the pudding look how basic the EFB is its still very basic , I remember them saying it would be Ground Breaking

What do you mean by “basic”? What does the EFB need that it doesn’t already have? What is your definition of a “ground breaking” EFB?

it loads Simbrief flight plans and Navigraph charts, allows you to do takeoff and landing performance calculations, control external services such as chocks, external power and baggage loaders, open and close all doors and hatches etc. What more do you need?
