Just purchased and can’t get it to install properly.  I mean files are put in folders but the plane does not show up.  I am stumped and I’ve never been stumped before and I’ve installed HUNDREDS of software assets for MSFS 2020 previously so I thought a thread might be needed.  One thing I notice is the installation is built for MSFS 2024 and that by itself is a cause of most of my woes.

Anyway, can someone assist me in installing this plane.  I want to fly it, not install it 😎😎😎

Been there, done that.  No help with installation found there, hence why I made this thread.  First hurdle for me is what folder are people directing the install to because mine does not know where to go?

Like all your 3rd party add ons outside market place, it should point to community folder

I hope you’ll get it sorted out soon, unfortunately I don’t have a solution to your problem. Their discord is flooded with all kinds of purchase problems, installation issues etc. 😳. I was planning on buying it tonight, but after reading all the issues users are having I might wait a few more days.

Well yes.  That’s what I’m doing but it’s not showing up in FS.  Here are my install folders in community..are these the same as yours?

I cant believe after all this time the file path for the community folder is too long and that's what's preventing install. how annoying.

But I am pathing directly to community how can that be?  I don’t deny your premise because obviously mine is not installed but I am going to a short path.

I'm not saying that's YOUR problem. I'm saying its ridiculous that this install and livery install doesn't just work.  I had to install everything in a separate folder then drag it over then change the install path back in the manager so it would recognize the package is installed. This is stupid because now every time you want to install a new aircraft livery you'd have to change it to a separate shorter named folder then change it back for the manager to recognize the path.  Going to try the registry fix, but, PMDG has a much better system.  

I can't tell if you've tried the registry fix. It's the only thing I can think of to help you.

I tried, but it was unsuccessful.  The only workaround I can figure out is to say EFF the manager and go get the liveries off of Flightsim.to.  That has worked.

Not needed. My community is G:/MSFS2020/Community

I'm thinking my install is weird.  For example I was only charged 54.95 via Flight1 Agent.  Now when I go to try to redownload Flight 1 agent says my files not associated and the Flight1 website/my account does not list todays purchase.  Last date is July 2024.  My extracted and stored install is named:

iFly-737NG-FS9-3.2.1(dot)exe.  Sound or look familiar to anyone?

Perhaps a support ticket is in my future.  😖

Their forums are a nightmare to get access to btw.

I suppose. They have DOZENS of forums which I have registered for, but access is spotty at best. Some work, most don’t.
