Thanks, mate. I finally found another mouse but it didn’t make a difference. Even when using the mouse clicking on something in the sim the pointer will disappear after about 3 seconds. Soo annoying. Thank you though 🍻.

I’ve been having this issue in the sim (FS2024) where my mouse pointer loses focus when, as an example, I’m scrolling through my flight plan on an FMC or MCDU and while clicking through the plan the pointer would just disappear after about three seconds or so. It doesn’t matter if I’m in windowed or full screen mode. Another example is when I try to use GSX to request pushback and would have to push the selection twice because the first click is ignored. It’s almost as if the mouse is losing its focus. I tried uninstalling drivers, unplugging the mouse to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance, Pete

I had an email conversation with the developer a very long time ago (shortly before the P3D release iirc). I vaguely remember that he was finishing up his ATPL and his time for development simply became too limited.

I finally upgraded last night. The new cockpit looks absolutely stunning!! Has anyone found a workaround for the disappearing of cockpit sounds when using non-default views? Cheers, Pete

Down here, too. I honestly have forgotten how to fly without it 🤯!

I uninstalled it first then installed the experimental version into the old community folder (not the community 2024 folder). After that I also deleted the WASM folder, which was not deleted by the uninstall. I haven’t had any crashes or WASM issues so far. Maybe this will help someone else.

I saw someone on YouTube saying that the screen fog intensity can be adjusted and/turned off. I do hope that it’s true.

I also used to struggle with the Fenix busses. When I incorporated the same procedure you're describing, the last thing I do is - once I hit 30 ft AGL - I ever so slightly raise the nose. The reason you're landing hard could be that Airbus pitch down deliberately at that exact moment. Airbus did this so pilots would naturally react by raising the nose ever so slightly to avoid a hard landing. Hope this made sense.

Thanks mate. Interesting, my flight was in icing conditions too, although I thought I had anti ice enabled. Either way, if this is a newly implemented feature I’d be impressed. I’ll test some more tonight.

Yep, same here. Last night during cruise both engines failed despite having no failures enabled. I also checked if any failures were active, but none were.

I’m very much looking forward to this release. I’ve been on many A340 flights between Europe and the US in the 90’s and I fell in love with this underpowered but smooth and especially safe airplane. Cheers, Pete
