I hope not. No, it can not. Traffic availability depends on the availability of parking spots. If the airports have no parking spots (check in World Editor), traffic can not spawn and AFAIK will avoid the airport. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
June 1, 20242 yr Author thanks Bjoern I checked KFHR airport from the SceneryGateway in WED and in LittleNavMap. it shows compatibility with xp 11.50, there are plenty parking spots but still no AI traffic observed, (to be ta 12.b5 or not to be ta 12.0.9 rc, that is here not the question) 🙂 Edited June 1, 20242 yr by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.
June 1, 20242 yr @turbomax All teh gates are size A I assume its only a GA airport, do you have GA ai.Actually it cant have AI it currently has no tower Freq listed. Currently AI only work on towered airports Edited June 1, 20242 yr by mjrhealth

I had to take it off the list of AI aircraft. does this always have to be so complicated? Traffic spawning at an airfield usually needs a bit of time to get going. You can also accelerate time to get things in motion. Stay off the ATC airwaves though unless you like fast forwarded speech. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

I don't think you read my post. Atc does not work at non towered airports. Yet.

I think mjrhealth is right, it only works at towered airports. which together with no VR support for the ATC communications menu, has totally killed all my ATC plans for x-plane for me (I fly VR only). there are over 20.000 non-towered U.S. airports vs. only 500 towered airports. another bad design decision of the x-plane developers to exclude 200.000 non-towered airports and a major drawback compared to my other, main simulator. that's a real pity because when and where it does work, it was very nice and felt immersive listening to the engine sounds taxiing behind the Citation-X jet and KingAir at KPDX. all the way from the gate to the runway. I hope they will fix this one day. Without au following flight plans non towered airports are not going to be easy.
June 3, 20242 yr Author thanks for the video, unfortunately it didn't show a single AI traffic generated aircraft. I would like to see the quality of the supplied AI models first, which are often very crude and visually reduced down to a level that defeats the immersion for me. I would like to also choose from the default x-plane aircraft as in x-planes own built-in AI traffic. like the baron, Citation and Kingair. I don't want to have to use a cell phone, all I want is to initially submit a VFR/IFR flightplan, then switch to VR and not have to use the keyboard or a mike again. I don't need a fancy AI traffic tool, no need for Flightaware or real world schedules, just a few aircraft taxiing, taking off and landing so it doesn't feel like a lifeless ghost town. does your tool and the demo version provide all this, at all xplane airports, towered and non-towered? That was on page 1, you also hear them talking through their procedures on the radio on that one, e.g. when it says "holding short of runway one two" there is an AI aircraft holding short of runway one two. Its not that hard to get Ai to take off and land, just had a few bugs creep in that have being reported, one has being fixed. I just dont like Austins stupid implementation, having a bunch of planes simply spawn and fly around you Realy silly seeing a 747 buzzing your 172 at 3000 ft. I think they fixed that one.
