Hmmm, I try to write in a way that cares to distinguish my opinion from his oppinion, but if you listen to what they say, 737NG, flightdeck2sim, it's easy to find what they find better modelled in XP, flight dynamics / feel of flight... Spend some time listening to their videos. Maybe you can find good reasons to appreciate it too... He has high praise for Fenix, of course, and says both devs have strengths in different areas. But...at the end of the day, where's he spending most of his time as prep for his IRL type rating? Different simmers, different priorities, as always. Shouldn't be so hard for you to just let it be.
