Magnus (the main developer) is crazy asking for this price, I ain't going to pay again for this garbage again. I bought it back in XP11 days and I regrated it big times, it was buggy and an FPS monster and still he couldn't fix it until today.

Yeah these are the things I've heard as well.  I used XP11 heavily about 3-5 years ago.  I'm not surprised it was a fps monster back then either.  The XP12 clouds are awful for fps.  And if you disable AA in favor of fps you get a lot of shimmers.  I bought XP12 but I'm hardly using it.  It needs to be refined A LOT.

I agree. XP 12 clouds are just horrible, period.  They are so blurry, and the cloud shapes are weird.  I'm so glad MSFS clouds are so much better than XP 12 clouds, they aren't even in the same league.

Anyways, I think live weather will get better an better for MSFS over time. I'm not sure what is the value of XEnviro for MSFS, aside from historical weather. I know some people want historical weather in MSFS so they have an add-on that can provide it now for the time being.

I fail to see what's new here that I don't see using MSFS live weather or REX Weather Force.

Kinda funny, that literally shows nothing, could just be footage from the stock game and no one would know. Since we also know how locked down the weather API is, it's doubtful they are working any miracles.

Even at the discounted price of $24, I have to think long and hard before I buy it. I had the XP version and it never matured to what was promised.

I'm now in sim heaven thanks to MSFS 2024 and hundreds of add-ons!

Indeed. I remember buying it for X-Plane and all the promises of improvements they would make to it that never really came and took literally years with all sorts of excuses and rude responses on the forums.

It cost $72 at the time and many of us including myself fell for the hype.

You don’t need an external weather program for FS2020 do you, the weather is just fine …bloody waste of money, bloody crazy

Yeah, hard pass on this one. My experience with Xenviro in XPlane mirrors everyone else's - not worth the price (AT ALL!!). This feels like a money grab, and the whole "Historical weather - starting from 16 oct 2022" is just hilarious.

I also paid a lot for it in XPlane and never felt that it was worth it. I seem to remember that it was $69. I was not happy with the development (or lack thereof). If I get anything, it would be REX but the MSFS weather is OK for now.
