March 2, 20224 yr For those that are looking at the MegaScenery option, I note that all products are 50% off through the end of March. Still seems a bit expensive considering there is no autogen, but I might try one or two titles.
March 2, 20224 yr I have hundreds of dollars of MSE I abandoned with FSX. Revisiting thanks to this thread. You can always tic it off in the scenery library when seasons change. Vic green

Dont know about the US but i would be surprised if autogen is not available there also. Yes but are they like most freeware, a disaster to install. (No install program). Tor Arild I'd start here: http://www.fsxforum.de/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=19503 this will point you in the right direction. Its really easy to install. No disaster at all as a previous poster sems to think. Megasceneryearty.com also has an easy installer. But for these sceneries you need autogen from another source, such as the link above or from e.g. realworldscenery.com. there are many sources available depending on which country you want

Also it does have installers now, it has been updated. I used P3d V4 on my computer with the entire western US installed and got great FPS. But now with MSFS imagery I have since deleted V4 and now only use the latest version of P3d for ORBX scenery. March 3, 20224 yr If photoreal is your thing just move on to FS2020 and you will have the whole world in photoreal and if you are lucky photogrammetry as well. Unfortunately I am a fan of the PMDG and FSLabs stuff so I am stuck with P3D and largely landclass scenery - for now. Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." March 3, 20224 yr MSE for Europe : each country has different coloring / saturation / brightness. Germany is really bad and you even see many places where batches of clouds are hanging over the terrain. MSE Switzerland is also not that good. Spain and Portugal look quiet good while Italy is very dark. All PR scenery from FSXforum is of high quality. March 3, 20224 yr Author And not to forget France photoreal available here at the avsim forum which is fantastic - and also includes Switzerland - which is also fantastic - and much better than the payware version of Switzerland from MSE
March 3, 20224 yr There is payware autogen for MSE, looks great. I bought it for NV and AZ but I have never installed yet.
