After the first flight you go to the main menu, start another flight with live weather selected, and live weather doesn't work.
Clear skies 223 @3kts everywhere...

Just a reminder that it's still here.
Only solution is to restart the game, which takes around 5 minutes to load again...

Has it been posted to zendesk/upvoted as an issue on their forum? 

My workaround is that I use REX Weather Force 2020. It takes way too long to restart.

I've been using the workaround, all users with clear skies - then change to live weather in game, this works every time.

Until earlier today, after I flew with Aus flight simmer so had to change my server settings from auto to US east or west, can't remember.

 

Now I'm bugged at clear skies again despite the workaround. I'm sure a restart will resolve but didn't have the time to try.

Everybody has this problem, but I can't even find it on the microsoft forum, is it normal?
Maybe everybody thinks that it's SO obvious that they HAVE to fix it?

IDK who Jorg is, I don't watch many of those, if they allowed unfiltered audience to speak it would be medieval angry mob style, nope, most of the real problems are avoided, and they only end up talking about how great is every single member of their team, and how happy they are to work together, and how great is the support they are receiving from the community, and how we are precious for them, and did I already mention how great is our team? 

Who am I kidding? I'd love to watch the medieval angry mob style!

I too do the restart  thing but luckily my close to desktop and restart is less than 90 seconds, so I'm lucky.

Yes, and they claimed they weren't able to reproduce it. I can't NOT reproduce it! This has been happening every single time since they added live weather to the ALPHA.

I can't reproduce that either. I do notice when going back to the main menu the weather has switched to the clear skies preset. I just choose live weather again and away I go.

There is a lot of useful information in the Dev Q&As.  If you don't want to pay attention to it it's your problem.....

Seb, the CEO of Asobo said he had just spent 5 hours trying to reproduce the 'clear skies on 2nd flight' bug before the Q&A, and they are having difficulty reproducing it.  They asked people to provide videos.  There is now a thread with several videos on the MSFS forums and the community manages have forwarded the information on to Asobo.

They also mentioned that they drove to a simmers house near Asobo's HQ to investigate another issue that was difficult to reproduce.  I don't know many game companies that would do that.
