FS2CREW: FLY BY WIRE A32NX PROJECT

Two flights in a row now, with voice control, after I get "Flaps Full" done, I am calling for the Landing Checklist. The app recognized the command, but the FO never says anything in return. In the app window, it looks like the Landing Checklist is active, but it's not actually doing anything. I've never encountered that with button control before. Any idea what the reason might be?

Is there a way to protect settings from being overwritten each time an (auto)update has been performed? Or is there a way to disable automatic updates? Thanks.

Would it be possible to allow the app (PBE, too) to recognize either voice or button commands? This would allow us to fall back to a simple button push if the voice isn't recognized. For example, I had issues getting the app to recognize "Landing Checklist" today and if I could have just hit a button to get the app to say it for me, I would have been able to continue. Just a thought. Otherwise, the voice recognition has gotten quite good!

I've used the FBW Project since it was released and until 5 flights ago the FO had only ever used Easy when calling for Clearance, Push Back, Taxi and Take off. Then, for one flight only, the FO used Easy 8225 for each of the ATC communications. It was a great feature but I cannot replicate it. I know I didn't imagine it so how can I set this up? I use Button Control.

Is anyone having issues trying to call out "Below The Line" phrase into FS2Crew? I keep saying the phrase, but it keeps on receiving my voice command as "Aligned". I'm doing a lot of livestreaming with FS2Crew, and it just feels embarrassing to keep repeating "Below the Line" as clearly as I can over a dozen times only for it to receive as "Aligned" and nothing happens every single time. Is there a quick override button that I can press when I'm stuck like this? If I press the kill switch, it would only reset the entire checklist, and when I call the same checklist again, it would stop at "down to the line", and it's waiting for me to say "below the line" a…

Can anyone say what is the key used to move a flow along if the software does not recognize a word. I am on the verge of ripping this out as it doesn't seem to understand BELOW THE LINE.. the only phase that starts with BELOW. I need a way to move it along while the vendor decide if its an issue with all the many users who have this issue with JUST this line or if its a bug that needs looking at. It is frustrating saying one sentence is as many ways as I can with no response. Thanks. Cheers

Hi New to fs2crew. Maybe i am missing something. When i fly with fs2crew i cant get the FBW320nx to follow the flight plan as it wont change from heading mode to nav mode. Once i restart without fs2crew i am able to set it to nav. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, Can you confirm the correct procedure for switching between 2D and VR? Program works great in VR but I have a few issues with getting the FS2Crew to kick back in when switching back to VR ie>> Currently in Cruise in 2D "Voice command assist" You have control... when I go back into VR nothing happens when I open the dialog box. Sometime (random) If I kill all commands it works. Other times nothing... I can still hear background announcement .. ie Prepare cabin for arrival etc... but I cannot interact with voice. Thanks

I have a issue with the "command Center" not closing after closing down MSFS. The 'Red" emblem stays in taskbar. I have to right click it to close it down. If I don't, I cannot shutdown the computer or re-start MSFS. I installed Win 11 yesterday. Not sure what my steps should be.

Hi Bryan, Can you check the voice file for "New Zealand"? I have it selected in FBW's "Call Sign" and the numeric flight number set in the MCDU's "Flight Number", but I'm only hearing the numeric flight number read back by the FO for requests. Thanks. Steve

Hi. I tried searching for this but didn't find anything similar, so sorry if I missed it. I'd been trying to delay starting the APU until I needed it. I was running on External Power up until then. Then, I pressed the APU power and the FO seemed to turn the External Power off at that point (which made everything go blank until the APU had started). Is there a way to fit starting-the-APU-10minutes-before-pushback into the flows successfully? Thanks very much.

I installed the program months ago and haven't flown with it yet due to the learning curve. I finally decided to try last night, and when it first started I could tell that voice control was not activated (no mic symbol). When I try to open the config window to change that, the window won't open. My taskbar will show two FS2Crew windows open, but when I hover over the config screen it is just blank. I can't access config at all.

I just recently purchased FS2Crew for the FBW a320 and I absolutely cannot get voice recognition to work. I have done every single fix on the FS2crew help section, including uninstalling, reinstalling fs2crew, changing languages, changing hardware, and so on. My voice recognition for windows works just fine with any hardware I use, I can control the pc and dictate to it flawlessly, windows (10) is up to date, all drivers up to date, everything else works great…FS2crew works great using the the keyboard, but when I try to change to voice control in the config menu, upon closing the menu I receive the error message “unable to activate windows speech recognition” and it…

I have the correct language pack and the settings are correct. Also no special software installed from Asus Any help will be appreciated

I don't have a lot of experience with the FBW A320 but always have issues with a cold and dark start when I use it. The buil-in auto checklist always seems to hang. Will this product allow me to automate a cold and dark start with minimal input from me ? I have pushback express and was looking to purchase this product as well. Thanks

Another wee immersion breaker is triggering taxi lights off using button control: The first officer has the lights switched off before the captain has even begun talking ... some mind reading going on there 🙂 Should be easy enough to add a delay there.

I really I'm liking the FBW FS2 Crew software. Wont fly without it anymore! Thanks for the great work! I have a request which in my opinion would give even a more realistic emergence. After parking and shutting off engines, the flow continues to bring the jetway to the plane. Can the flow also contain the baggage and food truck to show? That would be great to have for deboarding. Also to reset the program for a turn a round flight or new flight without having to exit all the programs and restarting msfs. It's a little quirky if you don't. IE no tug shows for push when doing a return or new flight.

Hello, long time FS2Crew customer here and I just bought the FBW version and am doing my first flight. It took me a minute to find my way around the new interface but now I have to say generally I think it’s a great step forward. The assist mode is very helpful in guiding me through the voice commands needed and is certainly easier than following a pdf. Thanks!

I start normally all phases till the moment of calling After start check list. At this time no options to jump to next even calling 1000 times the command. Otherwise i taxy to runway without last options with CO about checking movements end so on. And calling Take off abnormally Thanks

Hi all, I´m wondering how you guys perform the flight control check during taxi? I mean rudder and ailrons check moves the bus from out of the taxi way!? Is there a "trick" to avoid this and if not it would be nice to have an option to do the flight control check as a part of the after start flow. Many airlines do so irl. Beste regards, Holger

Hello, I see you can select between multiple output speakers but I would love it if we could do the same for mics. I have three different mics on my PC and sometimes the default mic setup in windows is not the one I would want to use with FS2Crew. For example. I have an XLR mic setup as my default mic that I use for recordings. But I really would like to use my headset mic as for FS2Crew when I'm not recording videos since the XLR mic is a big. I'd rather set the mic with your the FS2Crew program instead of having to change the settings globally. Thank you for your consideration.

With lots of updates for both the FBW and PE versions of FS2Crew, how can we check we are on the correct version? The old activation screens used to have this option. thanks.

Hi, todaqy is my first try with FS2Crew since long years..... Is there a invisible gear pin? I can´t stear my aircraft during taxi! I have rudders and as well set the rudder axis to my TCA Sidestick to simulate a kind of tiller. If I move it the rudder is moving but not the plane. What might be the mistake? greets Klaus

the Fs2Crew window or its parts is disappearing often on my second screen when maximizing or minimizing it. Also the infos of each button is disappearing. CPU usage of FS2Crew is also high when pgrogram is not active in use (on cruise for example) . up to 10%-14% .
