Hi Simbol, today I opened the app and it triggered for an update to v1.2.0, since the update it asked me to rescan the database and I don't have any ai model to configure anymore. it doesn't recognize any model. Need some help please. I use AI Manager by the way. Thank you

Hi there, I'm having problems trying to differentiate the lights of the Airbus FSPX models. I have separate light settings for older Airbus and newer ones so the A350 and A330neo have newer style lights. But for some reason even though they're in different sections with different settings - older has Xenon lights while newer has LED strobes - they all have the LED strobes. Even when I took them out and put them into the Default Global Fleet section they still have LED lights. I've used used your Excel spreadsheet settings and I don't have the issue with the Boeing models. Thanks, Oliver

After selecting 'Scan and Configure AI Airplanes', which detects 356 models, I'm directed to the AI Lights Settings tab where I need to click 'Apply Settings' - so far so good. However when I select 'Apply Settings' I receive and error saying 'It appears you AI model database is empty...' Rescanning doesn't appear to resolve the issue. I am using P3DV5, I had a previous installation of P3DV4.5 but the SSD it was installed on failed and so I had to uninstall and purge the registry of entries relating to P3DV4.5 - this is possibly related.

Hi Have a question about AILPE and that's about it, I changed a few partitions on my system, including the one where AILPE was installed. That was actually not a problem, because AILPE also works on the other part! But the AIGAIM has a problem that AILPE is no longer on the path where it used to be. Is there a way to change the path of AILPE without having to reinstall everything? Because AIGAIM doesn't work properly anymore because it can't find the program !! This is not a gripe, it's a praise. In the last month my 'puter has lost my password for AI lights Pro twice. Then I have to go thru logging in again with the result error of running out of login attempts , but guess what? Whenever I get up the next morning there is always an Email telling me my login and password, plus I'm no longer short on login attempts. "COOL", thanks for making life easier. I run this thing with admin rights, so don't understand what's going on, but whatever, I always get bailed out! *just to add I have same prob with ORBX Central for getting who I am occasionally also

Hi Simbol, Sorry to trouble you again. I installed a great AI package from Orbx (for Australia/New Zealand AI). FSReborn has recognised all the aircraft in that package which I've separated into 2 groups: GA and Commercial. The "Scan and configure" command loads these aircraft in the database perfectly with no errors reported. However when I go to preview mode all the other groups load aircraft and lights as normal, but when I click on either of the two new groups when in preview a scrolling message pops up in red fonts: "Exception 22". The preview loads but there are no aircraft to be seen. If I click on the other groups everything loads ok. Any sugges…

Hi Simbol, I'm pretty familiar with how effects (fx) files work and I can see the way this product has been constructed. In some ways it is impressive and has a lot of potential. But after spending three days trying to get this app running to satisfaction I'm at a loss. I followed every single instruction to the letter, and I'm running in your "expert" mode. The first issue I see is that after separating each AI designer-aircraft (FAIB, TSR, UTT etc) into groups then running preview mode to modify the effects, and after saving (exporting) each section then making sure when I "apply" effects the programme finds each group and confirms that it is indeed applying …

Hello, In P3Dv4 I really enjoyed using the ai lights software together with the AIM AI, had a nice result. Recently I switched to P3Dv5 HF1 (clean install, P3Dv4 removed) and added AI traffic again and of course installed the AI lights software 😉 I have noticed something interesting. When I scan for AI traffic it finds 355 models, when I restore the original lights (using the tool), it finds only 306. I did a restore because the lighting of default aircraft was changed somehow, after restoring it was default again. This is not a problem but I would like to know what it means BUT I am wondering if there is a correlation between FS Reborn and Chaseplane with an error message. What are your thoughts? Hi - I saw another thread about no landing lights with these models, but that's not the issue I'm having. The landing lights show up just fine, but I have no Beacons, position, or strobe lights shown at all. This seems to affect all of the FAIB models as included in the latest FLAI version (21). I know in the landing light thread there was talk that they would need to update something to make the landing lights work, but it seems like I'm having the reverse issue. What can I possibly check? Hey! Don´t know what I´m doing wrong but I can´t get it to work. The program doesn´t find any AI models at all. I´ve tried reinstall the program several times but nothing seem to work. So frustrated right now. Please, can someone give me a helping hand? I´m using P3Dv4.5. Best regards, Anders

HI I lunch the software and the update start then the software need to reactivation but didn't uninstall and then I endeavour with trouble getting back the password. Finally the number of activation has been exceeded for this activation code but I remember I did only once's. How could i exceeded my license. And all this problem came not from my side, my only change was to have P3d v5 installed but didn't reinstall or change anything. I lost 20 min include writing this post.

Are there any videos showing this combination? I would love to see how the airplane lighting looks with true sky enabled in P3D v5.

I downloaded ai lights pro edition payware and it installed in my p3d.v4 but it does not detect my qualitywings 787-8 787-9 787-10 or the default ai aircraft's in my p3d.v4..im a little lost can someone please help me 😔

I am interested in this product but had a few questions I'd like to ask first. Does it fully support Prepar3D v5 100%? Will I be able to add these lights to all my AIG-OCI aircrafts in one go, or does it require many steps and configuring to get it to work? Does it reduce performance/fps? I'm primarily concerned with #2, because if it takes a lot of messing around with, tweaking, editing files, etc. then this is a no go. I'm looking for a simple, plug and play solution out of the box without much needed tinkering to get it working with my AI.

Hi there, I've just recently reinstalled AI lights reborn pro and coming across this when trying to save configuration within the AI lights application. The first bit says "Could not find a part of the path "D:\Prepar3D V5ShadersHLSL\ConstantBuffers.fxh". Am assuming the path should be this "D:\Prepar3D V5\ShadersHLSL\ConstantBuffers.fxh". Unless theres something wrong with my installation. Went out for some plane spotting today. Noticed all ai with extremely bright lights.Im using FSreborn latest version and running 4.5hf3 and v5. fsreborn had default ac listed but my custom groups were completly empty in 4.5 and v5.It did this before on another version after updating but they came back after a reboot. Got any ideas? Rick

Hi, I've just installed it and everything is fine but when I try to register the product it says my password does not meet the criteria. I ha at least 7 characters with one upper case and one special character. Oh and maybe I should mention I got a warning message when I started up the app that the P3D V4 App folder wasn't found. Not sure sure if this is relevant. I hope there's an easy fix or I'm just an word not allowed :D, Cheers

Hello Simbol and thank you for your hard work here and in the P3D forums. As in the subject, I auto upgraded and now in both V4 and V5 the interface is only detects 15 models: DH81;DH83;DH84;E170;E175;E190;J41:SF340;BAE462;CRJ2;CRJ7;CRJ9;RJ145;RJ140;Aerospatiale - all UTL models located in the default UTL folder. I am a UTL user that previously had no issues in V4 with recognition of models. Please advise with thanks, Glenn

I have uninstalled AILR-Pro when I moved to P3Dv5. P3Dv4 does not exist anymore on my system. Can I use my old installer from 10/2019 with my original credentials and does it automatically update to the current version?
