Hi Maarten, I use the latest version of SLX (SimLauncherX_5.9.6452.11) Now, I have 2 problems using the map (See below) In 1, no situation is indicated. In 2, when I click on the left part of the button, no maps styles are presented, contrary to previous versions. I can only change the map style via the General settings of SLX. And furthermore; OpenstreetMap style is not listed in the choices in this case. So, what is going here? Same issued with the previous version (SimLauncherX_5.9.6446.27842) Thanks. Patrice.

I've installed SimlauncherX version 5.9.6452.11. It found P3dV4 and created the database without any problem. Under GLOBAL SETTINGS, I clicked on the FSX-SE tab and it automatically found all of the correct folders. However, how do I actually choose FSX-SE so that when I click rebuild ALL it creates the FSX-SE databases? It looks like it will delete the P3DV4 database (the TOOLS->Start P3dV4 icon is shown...). It doesn't appear I can actually change to a different SIM within SimlauncherX...

Hi Maarten, Downloaded your program. Ran it a couple of times then saw there was an update so downloaded and installed v5.9.6444.37686. Now it will not start up and gives me the error message Unable to Initialize Database Simlauncher will now close. Any idea what went wrong? Hi Maarten, Some issues with SLX with P3DV4 (I fly around England (ORBX stuff) in a liner (PMDG B737). 1.--, with some airplanes (one version of F22 raptor for instance, but some other ones also), the symbol displayed on the map is as this one. I do not understand why. Do you have an explanation? 2.--: The planes displayed for AI planes traffic are almost completely wrong: It is always a F22 raptor plane displayed despite my AI traffic (when displayed via Plan-G for instance) shows many commercial planes and no military ones. I'm trying out SimLauncherX mainly to chart frame rates and VAS. I have FSX boxed, FSX Steam, P3D v3 and P3D v4 installed. When I launched SLX the first time, I only ticked the P3D v3 box because that is where I needed monitoring the most (ORBX installed). So everything went smooth and after a long process of building the database, I could do some testing and it seemed to work well. Now I would like to try it in FSX Steam as well, but try as I might, I cannot get SLX to "see" FSX Steam, never mind monitor it. Hi, just installed fresh downloaded SimLauncherX for the first time on a W10 with P3DV4. Scenery.cfg file has errors: duplicate local path I checked it, no duplicate Entries. I have much ORBX installed. What can it be ?? CU, Achim

Hi Maarten, Could you please explain this menu and add a chapter on it in the user guide. By the way, there is an item related to RAAS in this menu. What is the behaviour if I already have RAAS? I made a flight a few hours ago and heared some messages that are not from the RAAS I have. So I disabled the RAAS item inside this menu, but one question: Who created these messages (related to airway position and flaps mainly), it is 'ot the same voice. Thanks for clarifications. Patrice

Just installed latest version (5.9.6338.3227) which appears to have lost the ability to capture approach transitions. If an approach is entered on the Flight Plan page the drop down box for a transition is not appearing. Michael

On the global setting tap I do not see where to put the IP and mac address. In the manual it shows on the simulator settings tap. Where is it in the new SLX. Thanks Maurice J Network pc's.

Hi Maarten, I have just reinstalled the latest SLX, and I notice that when I click on the Google Maps/Satelitte, it takes me to the MSN Home page. Is there somewhere this can be changed? I never use IE and Firefox home page defaults to google search I also discovered the little blue man is the user aircraft....but hes usually upside down. Can we have an aircraft icon for the user aircraft, or can this be setup somewhere? Many thanks, Chris Morgan

I take it that there will be a complete new version of SLX when P3D v4 becomes available on 30th. May 2017? Since its 64bit I understand the current version of SLX will not work with it along with FSUIPC4, so I'm afraid I will be staying with P3D v3.4 for the time being until all the bugs are ironed out of it. Hi Maarten, I noticed after your recent fix (2409) that whenever I start SLX the aircraft in the last-flown Flights entry changes to the first aircraft in my hanger, no matter if the tab display is on Fuel, Airport, Systems, whatever. For example, if I defined and save a flight with the RealAir Legacy, it is loaded with the A2A C182 when SLX launches. It always changes the saved flight aircraft to the first-in-the-list aircraft i.e, the A2A C182. If I then select a different flight I am asked about saving changes (i.e., the aircraft changed), but my intent was never to create a change. When I load the other saved flight, it loads with the saved aircraft as ex…

Hi Maarten, My favourite plane to fly is the mjc Q400, which because of its unique FMC format does not take data straight from SLX. So I tend to plan my flights in SimBrief and export the data to both the Q400 and FSX. I then use SLX to make any adjustments, which are then manual programmed into the Q400 FMC. One of the main activities in SLX is to apply SID, STAR and Approach data, which, if I am correct FSX does not store in its pln files(?) Accordingly I use the flatten tool to convert all the additional info into waypoints for saving in the pln file. However I have noticed that once flattening is applied and the waypoint table updates, SLX does not highlight…

Hi Maarten, Starting with version 5.9.6345.42019 I am noticing that the User Aircraft is not tracking my Flight Plans; the icon seems to be stuck somewhere off the coast of Nigeria. I don't know if it is some sort of Simconnect issue as my log file (copy attached) is showing a number of errors where there is a "Pipe Connection Failed". Hope you can advise. Installed Simlauncher in FSX SE and all seems to run fine. My problem is every time I minimize Launcher, the map loses connection with FSX, i.e. it no longer tracks the aircraft. I can reconnect, but do not want to do that every time. Any suggestions appreciated.

HI Maartin I've been using your simlauncherX for a while then i just stopped. A few days ago I decided to reinstall it (in the mena time I've changed PC) but I've a strange issue: When I launch it after the initial setup (simulator choice, weather addon choice) when the main window is opened i cannot left click in any button of the simlauncherx main window. The cursor moves and the button tool tips apper when the arrow is pointing on something but if i click nothing happens. Right click works. Any idea? Thanks!

Hey there Maarten, I've tried twice to load up SLX to no avail. It seems to get stuck at 3% "Saving database objects" and at 96% "Saving 20701 approaches". The first time the clock stopped and froze at just over 47 minutes. This time, as the screenshot shows, it froze up at 58:43. Barry Log can be found HERE.

After loading a flight with no problem, when taking off a Sim launcher message appears that says flight auto save, then date, (saved by FSUIPC4) has been deleted from the flights folder. Do you want to reload all flights? If I click yes Fsx goes haywire. If I select no the message reappears in a few seconds later. What is happening here? VB1

Hi Maarten There seems to be a problem here, with the last version (SimLauncherX_5.9.6151.40772): If I start SLX, i am directed to my default/last flight. After that, if I immediately click the "Airports" tab, then SLX freezes and I need to abort it. In the same conditions, if I click other tabs before clicking "Airports" tab, they open normally. After that, if I click "Airports" then, it opens normally also. Could you check? Thanks. Patrice.

I installed SLX yesterday and it immediately went through the process of configuring FSX with no problem. Works perfectly. Whenevdr it loads, it starts with FSX Default screen, i selected the P3D tab and attempted toconfigure it but NONE of the entries could be found using "browse". For Example: Browsing to the P3D folder, only Directories are visible (no files at all eg. P3D.exe). What am I doing wrong? Thanking in advance Neal Howard

Hi Maarten, I presently use the latest version of SLX (SimLauncherX_5.9.6141.19.msi) One problem I noticed in this version is: On the map, when you click inside an ILS arrow, nothing happens, contrary to preceding versions where, in this case, the ILS detailed data were displayed (if I remember). So, I think there is a problem here. Could you check and give me your feedback? Thanks. Patrice.
