Hello. I'm just wondering if you are aware that there appears to be an issue with decoding negative temps in the app. If I have a temp reported at M04(-4'C), no temp appears in the OAT box(leaving it therefore at 0'C). Is this a known issue? I am using Chrome for my browser, if that matters. Thank you, Kevin

I have read two conflicting opinions on when windshield hear should be used in the Q400. Some say that it should be used all the time, because it makes the windshield tougher if you have a bird strike, when it is on, other say you should only use it when you suspect icing. What is the correct answer?

Hello guys, A big fan of the Q400 cadet training here (and of the Majestic Dash 8 itself), was just trundling around your Airline2Sim website, looking on the Q400 FO training it says at the bottom of the page 'First Officer Training will be available early 2014.' Obviously we're a year on from that date, so was just wondering if it is still in the pipeline and whether any official update will be given? There's only so many times I can keep watching the cadet videos ;-) That being said, I do notice something new each time I do! Kind Regards, Daniel

Hello, May i ask which ENB Airline2Sim has used on the Cadet Videos? And is it possible to post a download link? that would be nice I collected and tested a lot of ENB presets already, and there are really some nice ones on the web. But the one from Airline2Sim is for my taste really amazing, the combination of light and colors is gorgeous. Regards

Is there any way,----short of tediously inputting waypoint after waypoint manually into the FMC,---- importing flightplans created by such software available out there, such as AivlaSoft, PFPX, RouteFinder, etc?

Hi, One thing the Q400 from Majestic is lacking is quality documentation. I loved going through the videos and finding where I am wrong and correcting myself, but it's hard as a reference source to refer to in flight etc after the fact. Unfortunately Majestic didn't get real aircraft manuals to publish the way PMDG have done, I'm not sure if it's due to licensing or what the reason is. They have published a manual on Systems which is the equivalent of FCOM volume 2. But we don't have documentation on full expanded normal procedures and flows, or QRH equivalent, or FCTM equivalent for flight patterns etc. Would Airline2Sim consider producing a product such…

Hi, I've heard you will be creating training for the Twin Otter Extended. How will you handle the navigation aspect? As the product only has the basic FSX GPS I understand, I wasn't sure of the best way to navigate IFR. Or will the focus be on VFR? Thanks

David: Hi Ben, During you Base training Josh sets up an MDA altitude for an ILS approach. I was under the impression that MDA was for non-precision approaches like a VOR approach and that DH should be used for an ILS precision approach. Josh: David, you're quite correct in your understanding of MDA for non precision approaches (NPAs) and a DH for precision, it's just a the way the Q400 interprets it. Hi people! Today was performing a flight NZWN - NZAA and at some point when trying to get the condition levers into the min/850 position I did a mistake and put them into start and feather. So as soon as I can I revert them into a min/850 again but...... in the overhead panel #1 PEC and #2 PEC signals become illuminated, and in the engine mfd prop needles became yellow and stay stucked at that setting no matter what..... I get lost didnt know what to do. The plane still flown with two engines but at the end my machine hangs for another reason. can someone here explain me what happens the indications meanings and what should be done in such situation? I'm almost through the videos (just one more to go) and I must say - Great work! I bought the airplane and the training some time ago but didn't have time to watch it or fly the airplane. Now I have some time and decided to first start with the videos than I'll go fly. I also look forward to other training videos you'll make in the future. One question though.. thruout the videos I noticed the airplane is very frequently slightly shaking or bouncing, even while on the ground with engines off. Why is that?

My target is to soon start flying online using PilotEdge in the Socal area of the states. Anything for a challenge! I would like to use the Flybe livery & was wondering if Josh could throw any light on Flybe callsigns, do they have a generic prefix such as BA with Speedbird etc For those not familiar with PilotEdge it is often described as Vatsim with brass knobs ie all positions in the Socal area manned so no gaps in the radio coverage & very professional.

I wanted to post a problem I am having with the Q400 when replicating the Initial Base Training at Birmingham EGBB. I follow the exact procedures as explained in the Initial Base Training for EGNX but I am using the rwy15 ILS at EGBB. Everything goes ok until final approach. I get established on the LOC and GS and as I descend down my AP automatically disengages and the Q400 suddenly just spirals out of control?? It happened twice and cant understand why i am having this problem at EGBB as I was able to successfully complete the Initial Base Training at EGNX. I am running P3Dv2.2 and using UK2000 EGBB scenery. I realize I may have to post in the Majestic support f…
