Hi A2S, Firstly, a huge congratulations for your training. I've just watched part 8 and have loved every minute of it. Secondly, do you use a separate program for your ground vehicles etc. (i.e. the pushback trucks and the guys waving you in) or is that part of those airport packages? Thanks, James

I get an indication that the rudder & elevators are working but nothing on the pfcs re the ailerons. What have I missed?

hi :lol: now I am watching lesson3/10. so. when I watched, I realized one thing. I am Japanese who cant listen english very well. nut not too bad. if there were speaking captions or more text on video. or text book. like a script. it would be so nice. but it was impressive videos :wub:

Good evening Gentlemen, yesterday evening I bought the Cadet Training for the Q400 and wanted to share a few thoughts with you. First of all, sorry if there are any flaws in grammer and such stuff here... Obviously I'm not an english man and therefore not a pro in english language or spelling When I saw the announcement that the program had been released, I couldn't resist! Although I flew the Q400 in the SIM several times and also on VATSIM in different countries I was eager to learn from an actual Q400 Pilot. A friend of mine has flown the Q400 as FO as well until his airline closed recently (maybe someone still knows about Augsburg Airways), but he does…

Have any of the episodes been revised since the original release for any reason, if so can we tell which ones we need to re download. I think this series is a fantastic addition to the FSX hobby and the Majestic Q400 in paricular. Thanks guys!!! Ron

I am very much enjoying the videos on the Q400 training. Good job! Allow me a question. I am impressed with the use of EZDOK with your filming - it is really nice! With EZDOK how do you move around the cockpit? (I don´t own EZDOK). Is it through assignment of a key or is it with the hat switch on the joystick? I am asking that because you show so short moves that makes this very realistic. It is for example what we can see in the very beginning of video 7. Thanks!

In part 2 at ~4:55 you turn on the battery master after turning on the other battery switches, yet in the Q400 tutorial flight which can be downloaded from Majestic's website, that pilot who wrote the article says to turn on the battery master first and then the other switches. Which one is it? Thanks, Mike

Hi. Just want to start by saying I really enjoy the videos. However, I've noticed there is a sound issue on part 3. During the info bulletin at the start, as the narration has reached about half way through the text, the narration starts over again on top of the original. The voices on top of eachothers is just present during this part. When the video gets going, all sound is about 30 seconds delayed wich causes issues, especially when systems/switches are being described, since the video has moved on for half a minute. Just wanting to let you know. I'm currently on part 5 and everything so far appart from part 3 seems spot on. Keep up the good work …

Just watched the full cadet training and I was really impressed! Especially the talk through of the FMS which for me has been one of the most puzzling parts of the cockpit for me! One question I did have is the ground crew you have in the videos [marshaller, tug driver]; is this part of FSX, the scenery, a separate add-on or the Q400 package ?

Hi I have download all videos. They have a resolution of 1920x1080 with exception of part 9 which has only a resolution of 1280x720. I suppose this is an upload error? Regards Harald

Hello, I just bought the package yesterday and the videos are very great. English is not my native language and sometimes it's difficult to understand some word or phrases as the narrator is speaking very fast. Is it possible to have a script text file with all the dialogs to download for each video ? Is it possible to have a situation file for each lesson, so we can practise ourself while watching the video on my iPad ? Keep up the good work ! Stephane

Hi I understand you have a beast PC with the best addons. However I'm curious if you tweak your FSX config to get such smooth performance. Like do you use a FPS limiter etc. Thanks

Certainly shows of the quality of the filming / hi def etc but as to what to expect? I think it under sells itself. Not a criticism, just an observation, as I believe the training package is first rate. For the future perhaps consider including a short two minute clip from one of the lessons eg in the cadet package first flight "taxi to the hold, take off & climb to 2000ft" This would show off your methodology & how effective Josh's teaching style is. Really nice job & looking forward to the First Officer release.
