Cadets, a quick update on things for you! Yes the Q400 training is still in production. Why so long? Well we had to start from scratch and get a real Q400 pilot and then get him along for multiple recording visits, sort through the footage, edit it, verify it for accuracy and then add special effects, texts and the like and do that many times for the seven different sections that make up the training. We've got so far around 8 hours of almost real-time footage shot within the Q400 flight deck and if you think about that in film production terms, it's like three full length feature films to direct, record and produce. Someone have this problem too: I executed the engine failure after v1 as per your dash8 fo training video but when I have to balance fuel it doesn't work the transfer system doesn't do anithing ( correctly setted!! As manual prescribes) ...I'm with p3d v3.2 and dash 1.08c ... Thank you P.s. It happens utilizing the system panel of the dash enebling engine failures

Hi I just bought the Q400 cadet package and wondering is there anyway to download the video to my iPad. I can play it on my iPad with wifi but I was wondering if there is a way to download the video and watch it when I have no connection to the Internet. I have the full video but was hoping to store it in my videos app. It doesn't seem to work

It seems the airline2sim website is down... I haven't been able to access it at all for the past few days. Is everyone else also having the same problem? Any ETA for the fix?

Hi, I purchased the Q400 First Officer training yesterday, but when I go to view the training courses, for each one I receive this error message "Oops! It looks like there was an error".

My password manager has lost my login info and I don't know if I used [email protected] OR [email protected] as my email when I purchased the Dash8 Cadet training 4/13/16 via Paypal I am not receiving password reset links for either of those email accounts The site seems broken in that it will not allow me to send a contact message. http://www.airline2sim.com/contact-us/ It just spins when I click send. This must be my fault, but I don't know what I might be doing wrong. Thank you

Hi, I have purchased and am enjoying the training videos, one question is; What scenery & add-on`s were used in the videos 1-10?? In particular the power stations at east midlands, what scenery pack are they with?? thanks Steve.

I just registered and paid 30$ for the mjc8 cadet training, but I cannot login with the supplied username and password, and I cannot see or download the videos. Futhermore a password reset doesn't work because the site considers the token expired (after 2 seconds!). The contact form on the site doesn't work either. Probably some small error, but I'd like to see this cleared ASAP. You can PM for details.

I have just noticed that there are a few Airline2Sim VLOGs on YouTube (and I watched one from July), but it seems that the last one was about seven months ago. Have you released any since? To be honest, I was looking for one that might have included a report of the Cosford 2015 FlightSim Show. Are you intending to return to Cosford this year? Hello, At about 05:40 in the video Josh has a little trick for the FMS and draw a line in the nav display along runway 27. He uses NAV/MNVR/PVOR and enter option 3 "CI27" in WPT, then 270 in the OTBD radial and presses enter/accept. When I enter the outbound radial 270, after filling the WPT entry, all my entries disappear and no ACCEPT option is possible. Question: Is that an FMS glitch, a new FMS version? Thanks!

Hey, All of my life I've been a fan of the Dash8, and I really really want to learn how to fly it "professionally" in the sim. The problem, however is that I'm not quite familiar with advanced navigation. Sure, I know how to track a simple VOR radial or NDB, but I've never attempted a VOR/NDB app nor Have I ever took the time to learn how to read approach plates/STARs/SIDs. What would you recommend me to do - first focus on the basics and then move to the Q400 or do them both simultaneously ? Thanks in advance for your response. Paul.

1st the HGS advisory panel is never lit is there a on off button? 2nd can't seem to get the take off to work. As far as I can tell I have set up according to manual but when I line up on runway I don't see the TO appear in upper right hand corner. I also don't see runway length. I have added all info into HGS control panel. Thanks for help.

Please advise. I have purchased the Q400 Cadet and First Officer programs. I can log onto the Airline2sim website and view the First Officer content. Attempting to view the Cadet content however, the Airline2sim site says I have to purchase it which I already did. If I log onto Vimeo's website however, I can view the Cadet content. I don't understand this? I'm sure that I purchased both through Airline2sim, but as no 'Account /Purchases' option exists, its hard to tell? Hi, am an avid user of the training vids think they are fantastic and will be dipping into the most recent soon (cant wait for 737 or airbus)..anyway. I have one issue which will not go away.. I use Saitek yoke/throttle/pedals configured through FSUIPC (latest version).. have also the latest version of the majestic dash8.. On approach and disconnecting the autopilot the plane becomes almost uncontrollable without a fight, yawing left and right and nose has a distinct drop ..I appreciate that it has a slight drop but this is down and right/or left I have followed and also viewed other landing vids and no one seems to have this problem (all looks very smooth w…

Since A2S relies heavily on scenery from Earth Simulations, do you have any recommendations for obtaining the sceneries now that they have closed up shop? Dennis

Hi I just bought a used IPAD 2 to use with FSX, one of the things I wanted to use is Aurasim app. I can sign in but when I click on performance it just goes to a black screen, with the Majestic website banner above it. I have no problem on my pc or samsung phone. Thanks for any help.

For the incredible quality and educational content of these videos. Here we are a year later and I still find myself going back to this series, not only because I find them enjoyable to watch, but also because I learn something new each time I watch one of your videos. If anyone has ever been on the fence about buying the Cadet training series, stop thinking about it and buy the series. Now. This video series is by far one if the best training aids I have ever purchased. I can still say that, with enthusiasm, a year after my purchase. Hi, Is there any way to get hold of your checklists from the cadet course as a pdf? I've found several references to a pdf but can't seem to find a download anywhere. As it would be nice to replicate the flights in your videos, is there any chance you could offer the plates, *.flt files, etc as downloads to accompany the videos?

Just a note to express my satisfaction and enjoyment from the First Officer videos ... I cannot believe how much I didn't know and how much I've learned in such a short period. I had some grief with downloading which I suspect was caused by a poor internet connection and my downloader kept retrying to complete without me not being in attendance to supervise! That won't happen again. Looking forward to purchasing the Cadet version and wondered if that would be available from this site or ? Hello, I fly the Dash using FS2crew. The originating flow of FS2crew mentions : engine intake door open (the FO needs them open for his walk around. Do no forget to close them) But I see you and Josh taking off in the FO videos with the engine intake doors open. So what is the right procedure here? Jos

I am watching the 3rd video in the series and you show an on screen checklist that pops up on the Q400. How do you get that to appear?

I am considering buying the co-pilot version and am wondering if any training is there for the Q400PRO shared cockpit(flows for pilot flying and pilot not flying). Is there training for use of the HUD? I received basic training for the FMC in the cadet version which helped. In this package is there more FMC training such as use of the MNVR, INTERCEPT, CMD HDG, ARM APR, etc? thanks Paul
