Hi all, Just got the 310 here at AVSIM. Well, I bought it earlier today looking forward to firing it up when I got home ;) Anyway, I'll cut to the chase: Normally running 22-25fps... opened up the 310 and am getting 5fps. This can't be right... can it? thanks, Andrew

I am really confused about the relationship between the GNS530 and GNS430 in the B-55. -Sometimes changes I make in one GPS change the same setting in the other GPS sometimes they don’t. -Sometimes the 530 and 430 are each set direct to a different target in the Views/Instrument/GPS window. The 530 in the VC window agrees with the 530 in the other window while the VC 430 target is set to a 3rd value. I purchased the B-55 on August 19 so I think it is the most current release. I have the MilViz Cessna 310R with the same GNS530/GNS430/KAP-140/GTX330 instrument panel and have none of the problems shown below. Those instruments work just as the manuals des…

Really having fun flying the Baron, however I started flying at night, well early morning from KSNA to KLAS leaving about 5:45 and the panel lights look great. But during the flight as the sun comes up the panel lights start too dim until you can no longer see the gauges, the GPS stack is still well lit but the other gauges go completely out but the panel switches are still on the on position, I didn't change anything from the time Ieft KSNA. Has anyone else noticed this. I know there is a SP2 in the works but didn't see any mention of this issue on their support forum. Actually I couldn't see how one registers on their forum....odd! For those of you with FPS issues... 1) turn off the GPS. Check for FPS. 2) turn off any addons. Check for FPS 3) check for max texture load. (lower to 1K) 4) Bill, Chuck, if you can think of anything else, let me know... For those of you who are STILL having issues after this... and wish to return the product, please pm me and I will see what can be done.

How much effort would it take to make a B55 version of the 310 serries of missions, Unfortuanately I dont have the 310, but from people speaking this is a truelly not to be missed mission serries you created..

Yes, I'm still new to the Baron, but ran into a few issues. Please help me finding out about their nature. 1) The WX-10A, how does it work? I see those four dots wandering around which I interpret as the active scanning. The manual didn't help me any further though. By the way. The mouse wheel causes clicks as if the knobs were moving, but they don't move. Only left/right mouse button achieves this. 2) The stopwatch on the yoke. Try to reset it. I failed. 3) The switches for the landing lights 'start' in the on position, but the lights aren't on. I have a question concerning the Wx-10A. How can I enable it to show some returns? I've set up a major thunderstorm via the FSX dialogue (no weather addon running) and I could see the rain and lightning around me. But the display never gave me more than those four scanning dots. The switch has a 'TEST' setting, but I can't reach it (the switch stops at 'FWD') to check the system. I've also tried my weather addons and caught some TS, but still only the four scanning dots while I could see the lightning and rain around me. Is this happening just here (no indication and 'blocked' test setting) or can one of you confirm the issues? :Worried:

Hello, The be55 is my first Milviz purchase and I am very impressed, this aircraft joins the hangar with other famous and great addons like Realair ones ! Congratulation. Hand flying the bird is a real pleasure and Garmin RXP integration is really apreciated. My only regret is lack of DME gauge. Ok, the original one probably doesn't have one, but here, at least in Europe, lot of procedures and airways are built around VOR/DME, GPS is just an extra support to make IFR pilot life more easy in busy airspace. But in any case, if GPS failed, pilot should be able to come back and to fly the bird with "raw" datas. Could you consider this option in a next update ? Flyin…

Hi Guys, I've got some inconsistent coverage when looking out the windows. Is there any way I can disable the glass reflections or the tinting? I'm not sure what to call it but you can see in this screenshot. I's covering the side windows but not the front fully. When I move my head with trackir it creates a weird effect where it looks like the tint coverage changes. First of all, thanks for offering a 3D RXP integration. I'm happy with it, at daytimes. At night, it seems like the gauge lighting is missing in the VC. From the screenshots, you can see that the day stuff works and the 3D RXP model of yours is active and allows for the RXP knobs to work just fine in the VC. But when switching to darker phases, only the rest of the panel is lit while the RXP units stay dark (except for the screens). Day. Night. If this only happens at my end, please disregard. But I've tried it with different panel.cfg files in place and that's the best I could achieve.

As the title says, which variant do you like more? Quoting the devs. For me, the E55 feels much stronger than one would image with those few extra HP. So far, the B55 is may favourite, flying her like Bernt Stolle recommended, with the carb heat on. I guess the not unlimited power with the four folks in the plane and some altitude renders it more of a challenge. B) What about you? Scott and Geofa already stated their preference in another thread but are welcome again of course. Adding. I also like the two blade props. Looks more old school.

Being new to the Baron, I'm scrolling through the manuals (great POH again!), looking for some differences on the actual checklists. That's from knowing the C310 for while, sort of running her based on habits now. Now here's the first question. Why does the Baron POH state to run the aux fuel pumps off (except for high ambient temps) and the C310 goes for aux fuel pumps on (low setting)? The engines are both IO-520 M (C310) and C (E55). That's for takeoff and landing at both planes. Not a nitpicking question, just out of curiosity. Looking for that rw pilot to sim pilot exchange. Justed purchased the B-55 with the service pack, but some of the click spots on the autopilot like the ALT button don't function. I downloaded and installed with my anti-virus turned off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks - Martin

B55 fuel flow seems wonky with the new SP. Way too high. Haven't tried the E yet. Anyone else seeing this? Scott
