my first time here and installed DCS world for the first time and would buy FC3 after become familiar with it dcs world. my question is I have a logitech G 940 and have to appoint the throttles and the buttons to the game. I already saw in the game that you can appoint. but afterwoods it turns out that it didnot work so probebly i have to do it different could someone help with that also i appointed in the keyboard minus and plus sign as zoom in and out also these did not work any help would be appreciated.

I just downloaded all the four files from the DCS website for the DCS World 1.2.2.7570. I put all the downloaded files into a folder, clicked on the (exe) like it said on the installation page, I get an error saying that (The Source File is corrupted! What has happened here and how do I fix this? Regards, Ciaran.

I have to confess that my very 1st contact with p51d was scary... I had never failled so roundly to control a simulator airplane in my simmer life!!! What IS THIS???? But I kept reading it was realistic that way, and the problem was the fact that both in RL and in the virtual flight simulation Worlds my control inputs were usually a lot more "wide" than the real thing would allow to... A friend convinced me to play with the axix settings, first by using exponential throw, then through saturation (specially on the pitch axis), and so I did, an indeed things got easier but I knew that that way I was not really taking correct advantage of the full course of control some…

Hi there, I am completely new to DCS, I've had my eye on DCS simulations for a long time but haven't really decided to buy it until today. Now that I have purchased the A10C Warthog, after downloading it and attempting to install it; I am greeted with (DCS World 1.2.2.7570 must be installed). I am kind of new to DCS. I have played Flaming Cliffs 2 and A-10C and I'm instantaneously hooked. Amazing simulation! I was wondering if I should pre-purchase Flaming Cliffs 3. If I buy it now, do I only get the Beta. or do I also get the full game when it's released? And is the beta any good? And can I connect to Flaming Cliffs 2 servers with Flaming Cliffs 3? Better than Flaming Cliffs 2? Any help will be appreciated!

Hi everyone, I am new to FC2 and I find it a very fun combat simulator so far. It took me some time to figure out how to designate a target, use all my weapons etc. but eventually I figured out almost everything. I was just wondering what all the different icons were on the HUD and the two screens in the cockpit. I have no clue what they are called. So when I select a certain missile, I can move the target designator to lock onto aircraft. So when I am scanning for these aircraft there are quite a few different icons that appear. There are stacked bars with some space in between each bar, solid single bars and solid dots. I can lock onto each one, but I'm not sure if …

So I read multiple explanations on what DCS actually is, but I'm still unclear about all these modules. So I looked on the DCS website and it said that they sell DCS: A-10C Warthog, however, DCS: World is free. But there is a A-10C Module for DCS: World as well? Because as far as I have seen, I have seen people actually using separate DCS products such as Flaming Cliffs and the A-10C without installing DCS: World. What is the purpose of DCS: World and why are there separate installations, but they claim there are also "Modules". Can anyone clarify this for me please? Thanks! (Edit: Do you need DCS: World to be installed for Flaming Cliffs 2, 3 or the A-10C to work?)

Hi,I have flown FS9 for years and years. Mainly within europe is did hundered of flight with the PDMG 737-700. I also have been intrigued by combat flight sims. Although im not a fan of combat itself. As for the A-10 its a lovely plane to fly and i only create nav missions. I truly think that A-10 needs much more respect from third party developers like Aerosoft and other add on companies to release DLC's or add ons for this wonderful flightsim. I would love to fly a Hercules with tanks for the front line. The A-10 is a truly amazing flightsim and i rate it much higer above FS9 or FSX when it comes down to the physics. The concept is good, the outcome is, so far (i just own the p51d and the bs2) perfect, so, I can't stop asking myself if, by any chance, we could have in the future some military version of a well known civil aircraft. The military versions of Beechcrafts, Cessnas, etc... are good examples. From someone coming from the civil side of flight simulation because I am tired of not finding there what I look for in the first place - good flight dynamics and systems / engine / damage /etc... modelling, I dream of one day seeing a B200 military being announced :-) Even a military version of the "Push-Pull" 337 (OA2), or a Cessna Bird Dog would do :-)
