The story thus far: A look at some current and upcoming Aerofly 3rd party aircraft

I got the Just flight cessna 152 and the Arrow Turbo 3 addon aircraft but I can't get the cursor for when trying to activate an approach in gps. I keep pushing the cursor button but nothing.

Is it possible to change settings on the fly like in Flyinside? So far I have been exiting the game everytime I want to make changes.

I downloaded areofly fs2 and steam VR. Then I downloaded Aerofly FS 2 - High Resolution Texture Pack for Southwestern USA (Free DLC), and the Aerofly FS 2 - Switzerland. Both are showing as installed. Is that it? If I launch areofly in steam VR the textures will be loaded? This is the same for all scenery addons and planes?

So I am torn between using the link that is going to be released with the oculus quest, which would enable me to play oculus rift games on my quest, or get an oculus rift s for simming with areofly fs2... Here is the link to how the Oculus link works:

Anybody have any experience with these? How does it compare to flyinside VR? I like the way the hands on the cockpit are interacting with the controls. As the guy mentions they do not "light up" which is better. I see he can turn the little knobs easily...very cool. I think you can use a physical yoke as well if you want. Anyway, I will install Aerofly FS 2 now, and depending on when MSFT goes VR and how the quality is will determine if I switch over later. 🙂

Hi, is there a way or workaround to avoid the window reflection or colourisation on the Airbus flight-deck? In 2D flying, there is not a problem but in VR the outside terrain colours are becoming very light and washed out. Flying today in ORBX True Earth The Netherlands, it became annoying and very ugly outside the plane. (not in spot mode, that was beautiful). Thanks...

Hi, I use OBS Studio to record videos of P3Dv4, FSX...I tried to do some with Aerofly but the OBS screen remains desperately empty/black as soon as I switch to Aerofly. Any tips? Thank you and Regards, Richard

The on again, off again carbon project has kicked into its highest gear with some exciting screenshots becoming available. I recently purchased Aerofly FS 2 to complement my current flight sims FSX-SE and P3DV4. It‘s the DVD version on 6 DVDs . After successful installation and activation I tried to run the latest updater. But immediately after choosing ghe language I get the error message: Aerofly FS 2 could not be located on this computer. Please reinstall the DVD version. I contacted the Aerofly support and got some advice which unfortunately did not help. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice according to their instructions to make sure there was no user error. But to no avail. Since the MSFS 2020 trailer, I must admit that I've hesitated on spending as much time and money on Aerofly. When I first found Aerofly, I figured that this would be a great platform for the future, and that X-Plane would be unlikely to catch up in terms of performance and visuals. I thought it might be something I'd still be using and adding to in 10 years. If I'm being honest, I can see FS2020 sweeping everything else aside.
