What do you think of these PC specs for VR?

First impression:  Both your HD and SSD should probably have a higher capacities - don't know if you have options to up it on the two discs?  Also RAM should probably be 32 Gigs (for future apps and sims, like 2020).  But I know most of the $$$ is going towards the Geforce 2070.

But enjoy your new rig...

Ya I was considering 32 RAM and going with a 2080 TI...but right now I just need a rig for Areofly fs2 because my current one doesn't meet the minimum specs for the game.

  • RECOMMENDED:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: 64bit Versions of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
    • Processor: Intel Quad core CPU 3.0 GHz
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: OpenGL 4.0 compatible 3D graphic card with at least 2 GB of RAM
    • Storage: 40 GB available space
    • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible soundcard

At that price this PC had the best bang for the buck that I could find:

  • average FPS at 1080P Ultra settings battlefield V: 112
  • average fps rainbow six Siege: 232
  • average fps the Witcher 3: 114
  • average fps total War: warhammer: 124
  • average fps hitman 2: 93 average fps monster hunter world: 92
  • average fps dragon quest Xi: 174 average

Who knows when MSFT 2020 will have VR on a PC so I will wait to upgrade if necessary when we have the actual specs.

There are deals out there. I just picked this up for $500 (for a family member) from a friend that buys new machines probably every 5 months. Ask around!
