I can see how to assign a game controller to activate SHIFT in Linda but is it possible to simply use a keyboard combination (on your normal pc keyboard) to activate Shift ? (like assigning SHIFT key to enter that mode) - if so how - thanks - great software.

Recently, in a lot of countries in Europe the new 8.33 kHz frequency spacing has been introduced exclusively to provide much more usable air-to-ground frequencies.As a result of this change there are new frequencies in radio traffic. For example EDDB_TWR has the frequency 120,030. In the flight simulator you can only set the frequencies 120,000 ,120,025 and 120,050 by mouse click or with the MCP Combo panel. Exceptions are the FSLab Bus and the PMDG 744/748 in which you can set the correct values at the pedestal with a mouse click, unfortunately this is not possible in the PMDG 737 and 777. I would like to have a go at making a module for the Carenado Phenom 300. I have found and read the LINDA "how to use" by Barry747 but to get further into it I need some documentation on tracing/module making. Hello, I am trying to extend an already existing module with a plane. My question is, how do I find out the button or switch number. I do not mean the LVARS, but the number to the control. small example of the Majestic DASH is the control number 51406 for the knob "NAV Source". Is there a way to get this control number out? Hi all Linda fans I have recently received another Saitek FIP , my 4th ( birthday present). But now my question is : is there any way to select which instruments should be shown by using LUA/Linda. I fly different aircraft from light GA to heavy metal Jets, but whenever I change aircraft I have to re-select which FIPs I want. One cumbersome method is to have several different SaiFlightFip.xml files. This file defines which instruments should be shown in each FIP when FSX/P3D starts. SaiFlightFip.xml is only updated when FSX/P3D exits so that the same instruments will be shown next startup. SaiFlightFip.xml contains <FipList> <Fip Se…

Hey guys quick question, I was just wondering if there will ever be the possibility of LINDA support for VrInsight Overhead Panels. Now i know that these panels are different because it has special functions/lights that light up and all of that to match functions and so on . What i am referring to is the simple functions for lights and knobs and just simple buttons functions. I have a A320 panel, paid considerable money and can only use it with the Aerosoft....or wilco...and really wish could at least use if for lights and so on. Manuel Santos

Hi all, I would like to show permanently on MCP instead of weather data the position of the 'VC_PEDAL_DISC_CPT' as long as it is in down position. I tried to modify weather display function from the actions.lua in my user.lua but somehow with no success because I am not an expert in lua. I have noticed that every time I reload LINDA, the console window pauses and I have to select 'Resume' to see any fresh information. Is there a way to not have it pause on a reload? Regards, Chris.

Hi, i believe i need e little bit help. I tried to create a modul for a C-160 from JSS Simulation. I`m a absolut beginner in modul development for LINDA. For this i tried out how can i read LVARS for a standard aircraft at FSX. I`m using a test Pc with a FSX with absolut Standard konfiguration. (no AI Traffic no Scenery) only JSS C-160 installed and some freeware A/C. I load a B58 and LINDA. Now i startet the developer mode from LINDA. Klicking "start all" at . The console shows the following but it shows no inputs that i have do like taxi lights on or landing lights on. Whats happened? Where is my mistake?: Deleted Log

Hi, im looking for a JSS Simulation C-160 Modul. Default inputs like landing light etc. doesn`t work with LINDA.

I attempted to create a profile in LINDA for the P3Dv4 version of the Milviz UH-1, but the aircraft is not listed in the LINDA aircraft dropdown. Is this something specific to P3dv4, because in v3 I had a profile for the Dodosim Bell 206.

Unfortunately I failed making a profile by myself, so I'm asking this way if someone has a module for that aircarft or has plans on creating one? I noticed it has the same autopilot as the JS41, but as far as modules and functions go, I can't use the JS41 module for the Do228, can I? Thx and Greetings Daniel

I'm just speculating or just throwing this one out there for the developers and programmers of LINDA to thinker with. For instance I know about the LINDA TRACER feature... But how can I explain this for simple clarification... But here it is? Can there be a new development In which LINDA can take the tracer feature and automatically pre-flight for you and thus prepare for you the LUA files and package for you the module for any aircraft of your choice and have it all ready in one file module. Hi, Folks: I wonder if is there a relatively easy way to get a value from Saitek Panel and use it into a LINDA function. For instance, getting the HDG value displayed by Saitek Multi Panel and write it on a plane LVar inside a function. On my specific case, I need this to set the Captain Sim 737 HDG bug indicator, that is not directly compatible with Saitek. Anyone faced a similar problem already and could provide a solution? Hello. Will LINDA continue to work in the future? As a big fan and user of Linda, I ask myself exactly this question. Against the backdrop of a 64-bit version of the Flight Simulator Prepar3D, which is expected to be released in the future, discussions are constantly taking place that 32-bit programs such as Linda would no longer work with a 64-bit P3D version.
