The new maintenance function is a good start, to simplify the installation of LINDA. But... I have to save the old installation manually first. I have to unzip the content of the LINDA-Download (manually downloaded) first. I have to re-import the saved folder manually. Finally I have to delete Linda.exe and rename Linda_.exe. And btw the difference in the name is easy overseen So there is not really much left for LINDA to do :-) I think, when a User is able to save folders on a secure place, he should be able to delete a folder and copy some contend to the right place. It would be nice, LINDA could do all the necessary steps, download new versi…

Hallo, I'm not really sure that I'm not going to touch a sensitive spot, but I'd really like to ask a question. Since LINDA supports the VRInsight MCP Combo II, it means that the developers have fairly complete information about the serial protocol used by this device; I haven't seen this protocol documented anywhere. The question is: would it be possible to publish some information about such protocol, or would it violate some kind of non-disclosure agreement that the developers might have subscribed (or simply create copyright issues that had better be avoided)? Thanks GiorgioCC

Hello All For some time now I have been using LINDA with my Saitek switch panel, Yoke & VRInsite MCP . Great tool, thank you Guenseli. But eventually I thought that it was time to add more buttons and switches. I decided to buy an Open Cockpits i/p, o/p board and build it myself, having had some experience with electronics and software, no problems except that I soldered all the diodes the wrong way round. Everything working ok, programmed most of the switches and lights with SIOC to operate via FSUIPC. But,as I a fly several different types of aircraft and it's not easy to detect in SIOC the aircraft currently in use. So, I used LINDA to write a bit to a user …

Hi,my name is Massimo, I'm the developer of SPAD, a replacement "driver" (I know, the word driver is not completely correct) for the Saitek ProFlight panels ( http://fstools.weebly.com ).Recently I've discovered LINDA which is a much more advanced project than SPAD. So I'm here to ask the developers if we can collaborate to include Saitek Panels support within LINDA. I saw LINDA is built around a modular architecture, so, maybe, I could help developing a specific module for the Saitek Panels. Please, let me know if such a collaboration could be interesting to you.Thank you for your attention. Cheers,Massimo

Hello everyone interested by this developpers topic, specially LINDA's I would like to know if it will be, or how it's, possible from LINDA lua script to call C SDK addons functions directly by using the lua ffi library (luaJIT) ? Maybe it's already possible with the LINDA lua editor. I'am not an expert with it. Tried but the ffi library is not loaded or not include and it's throw a nil exception. this simple lua script works in IDE like ZeroBrane studio. It calls LevelD 767 SDK functions directly. This is really handy: local ffi = require("ffi") ffi.cdef [[ long LVLDSession(int action, int version); long SendLVLDCommand(int action, int value); ]] name = "D:\\Program F…

LINDA employs LUA 5.1 as the engine to interpret the LUA code used my LINDA and its modules (see \modules\linda\lua). The current version is LUA 5.3 which is only available as C++ source code via www.lua.org. Are there any LINDA users familiar with C++ who could assist me in creating a new updated LUA distributable package?

Beispiel: OVH folgendes habe ich im Moment im Editor stehen: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- function NGX_LIGHT_CB_60 () local i for i = 1, 60 do NGX_LIGHT_C…

Hello, I am looking at buying a DA42 for use in P3D but was only going to do so if there was a way for me to interface my buttons/switches with it. I do not know which DA42 I was going to buy although I was looking at the Alabeo one. Therefore, I was going to see if anyone would be kind enough to make a LINDA module? Thank you!

LINDA 2.5 is now the recommended version! Owners of the original MCP who experience problems with 2.5 should use this version (1.13). LINDA - Lua Integrated Non-complex Device Assigning We are proud to announce the release of LINDA! LINDA is meant to make your HID Device / Joystick assigning for FSX as simple as possible. With the advance of having many additional functions. LINDA also supports the VRInsight MCP Combo and adds many new functions to it! And LINDA is a tool to make hunting for FSX controls, offsets and LUA variables much easier as it was till now. LINDA should be the platform and a standard for all future user created LUA scripts Joystick /…

Scot could it be possible to incorporate a 2 function per button mode within Linda? If the user assigns a button to a New 2 function option feature on the setup page, the assignment pages changes from one row per button or switch to 2 rows for each button or switch, top row for New 2 function button press when it is false and row two for New button press is true. That way the trigger button on yokes and joysticks when pressed and held in, the second row function is selected for all the other buttons and switches. When the trigger button is not pressed, the first row function is selected for each button or switch. The user sets the 2 button option in the setup field by pr…

Hi Andrew, I'd like to see, that TAB would be able in Key combinations. And could you reactivate CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3 for hiding the window frame of 2D panel. CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F1 for saving panel positions isn't nessesary in P3D v3 with panel serialization enabled.
