CT210M Centurion II HD Series for FSX | P3D

  1. Started by Pete491,

Guys, I got a new PC and am having a hard time installing the Centurion and the RXP 530. First I download and install the Centurion - no problem. Then I run the GNS WAAS FSX Config. Select the Centurion and exit. Then I run the RXP530-RXP430.exe. All seems OK. When I select the Centurion in FSX it immediately gets a fatal error and crashes. I've de-installed and re-installed a couple of times with the same result. It's been a year or so since I went through this and I think I may not be doing this right. What do you think? Thanks! This is the error I am getting: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e…

I did my first night flight with this plane and I had no lighting on my radio stack or DME in Prepar3d. It lights up nicely in FSX. Is this a limitation of the plane in Prepar3d or is there something missing in my installation or something,

  3. So, I've been looking at the Carenado Centurion forever as a replacement for my old C182Q. Today I got it and took it up around the pattern. Flies nice (tho...I did tweak the elevator per another thread...seemed 'woh' to me...not sure if a real 210 has an elevator like that. (Shouldn't matter to the discussion since all I really did was increase the amount of travel on my CH yoke a bit.) So, everything is good but, the one thing I have found difficult is putting it down on the mains first. Not sure why, but it seems to want to land on all three wheels at the same moment. Haven't got the stall warning yet pulling back (and maybe that's part of the trick?) but it j…

My buddy and I both purchased this aircraft from Carenado. We've had a long running argument about the RXP 430 and 530s. Maybe you veterans can help us solve this problem. It is my understanding that this 210 package supports RXP but does NOT come with it. He believes that it DOES come with the 210 package and you just need to install it using the configurator (RXP530-CAR430.exe) files. I've tried it and when I do there are black holes where the stock GNS 430 and 530 are supposed to be. Is he pulling my chain or am I doing something wrong?

Hello, Just wondered if anyone has a suggestion or fix to the constant wind noise? I thought it might of been my A2A Accu-Feel add-on, but turned that off and still getting the constant wind noise. Thanks, Jerry

I've taken a fine paintbrush to the VC nightlighting textures and now have the airspeed needle, the HSI course needle, and the GPS frames showing up nicely.. They were all in the dark before I'm sure there is more that could be done, but this at least makes it usable.. Old view - followed by new view..

  8. Hey guys, I just recently finished making a set of customs checklists for the T210M. They include normal as well as emergency procedures. I figured someone else may find them useful. They are modeled after the ones I used during training for the commercial checkride in the CE 172RG. There are two high resolution PDFs for printing, and then 4 PDF files formatted to fit iPad perfectly. Note that if you are printing, they are formatted for the standard Jeppesen page size (8.5 x 5.5). Please see attachments below! Cheers, Skyroamer

  9. Hi, follow simmers. I just recently purchased the CT210M. I haven't been able to fly it because of this problem. I have FS9 and FSX with various aircraft in both programs and they seem to work ok. When I get the CR210m fired up and ready to go, I can't adjust the Heading bug with my Mouse, it will not move in either direction. Same for the course selector.. Any HELP would be appreciated.George Clark

  11. Hi, Just got the 210 today and loving it. However I can't figure out how to get it to follow a flight plan. I am creating a plan in Plan-G and then loading that into my flight... when the flight loads, the plan is all set in my GPS, but I can't get the aircraft to follow it.... tried the auto pilot, no luck. Where am I going wrong? The PDFs included don't help at all. Any advice appreciated. Thanks. Andy

Hey Guys,I absolutely love this airplane. However, one thing I wish Carenado would do is to give us more control of VC cockpit lighting. Is there a way of turning off those bright blue dome lights and leave just the instrument lights on. Thanks guys. See Yah!Ray

Flight: London to Glasgow climbing to 30,500 feet (saved at this point), outside temerature droping to nearly -40C. In most if not all of my other aircraft, at much higher temps than this the air speed indicator flicks to zero indicating that the pitot tube(s) are frozen/blocked and prompting me to switch on the pitot heater. With the T210 this did not happen and the ASI still gave a correct reading - even at -40C! The T210 has a pitot heater switch but does not appear to be configured to respond to low outside temperatures. Is there an explanation - is this consistent with real-world T210 performance - or is there a (minor) bug in the sim? Out of interest, th…

Is there any way to get the RXP530-CAR430.exe to work for FS9 or have we been left to our own devices again. When I didn't see it there I just went to modify it on my own but the panel.cfg looks nothing like I've ever seen before so I'm guessing they did some new technology thing on it.

I am not if this is to be expected or not; however, when I load the 6 stations with weights for the pilot and Pax and load the cargo the plane seems to sit back as if it wants to tip and lift the front gear off the ground. Here is an example of my weights from one flight. Pos --- lbs. 1 ------ 180 2 ------ 140 3 ------ 204 4 ------ 214 5 ------ 102 6 ------ 114 Bags - 163 For fuel I had 43 lbs in each tank for a total of 86 lbs. It was a very short hop while I got used to how the plane handles. Speaking of which this is now my new favorite GA. I did apply the adjustments suggested on the Forums here for the night lighting in the VC, shockwave lighting for t…

Hi All, I am terrible at repainting and have not found a way to easily do it using a picture, so I was wondering if there was any kindhearted person out there that would do a 'free' repaint for me. I have seen a beautiful and very stocked Cessna 210 and would love to have a repaint of it.. The picture is attached. In the picture, the repaint on the one side is the same on the other side. If you would be willing to do a repaint of this plane for me, please shoot me a private message. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have recently observed that my 210 engine time has suddenly started over. Could someone direct me to where the engine time data is recorded and perhaps advise me on how to edit same. I think I had accumilated over 40 hrs on the 210, now the tac is showing 1.9hrs. Thanks.

Hi! I have a problem with the 210. The flaps sound is barely noticable, as is the warning horn, when throttle is at idle and the landing gear not down. I tried the 337 and there all the sounds work okay. Any suggestions?

  20. Hi, Instead of clicking the on/off button with a mouse, wonder if anyone knows any other methods (such as keyboard command) to toggle the power of the GPS in the aircraft ? Looking for an answer a long time and not a clue found so far.

I thought the 210 usually seats 5+1 pilot.. I just noticed that the Carenado model shows only 3 seats. what is the real deal? is it 3 with rear cargo? or 5 with no cargo?

  22. Started by flya150,

The C210 is a nice aircraft to fly. I think Carenado did a nice job here with this one, however there is one issue I see with the RXP GPS option. That is the Pop Up windows do not work as they should. The Default Carenando GPS530 will popup when clicked on, the 430 will not. The RXP 530 and 430 will not popup when clicked on either.Below is a diagram from the RXP GNS WAAS user guide with information on the click spots. An “RXPGNS.ini” file needs to reside in your Carenado Centurion T210 folder, this allows for the popup and other functions setup in your GNS WAAS FSX Config tool.1- Navigation Device selection: The click spot cycles the available navigation devices when cli…

Hi, I'm the beginner user of this aircraft. Many of threads are closed and unable to continuing, so I decided start a new one... 1. What is the solution of problem of 'missing' "0" on first (or first and second) digit in squawk code? I guess - when I get squawk i.e.: 0636 from ATC, then I should enter only "636", am I right? It's important for me, because I fly on VATSIM. 2. I bought this aircraft in FlightSim Store a few days ago - is it last (updated) version or should I install other patches/updates? 3. I read many post about problems related with final approaching (i.e. http://forum.avsim.n...s-with-the-210/). Are these problems still occur in the new…

Hi guys I'm a bit confused about something. Sometimes I'm cruising at 20.000 feet, engine leaned, fuel flow about 100, doing maybe 170 knots, and suddenly the engine starts sputtering and loses power. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Only remedy is to glide down to around 6.000 where it will regain power. Any suggestions?
