Hi, I downloaded a paint that I really like but it is for the standard wheel version only. I have converted it to the tundra tire version and it all looks great except that the paint was for one of the planes with the window in the lower door and the tundra version doesn't have that option. I now have a great paint job but I have a black square where the above mentioned window is supposed to be. I don't own the standard tire version only the bush version. Is there any way to fix this? Mark

I know about "shift+enter", but that's not exactly what I am seeking. What I am looking for is a view similar to the 337? When flying the 185, it just seems, to me, that the whole "instrument panel/firewall" is too intrusive. Too much "airplane", and not enough scenery! Help appreciated!

This is certainly more a general question for all kind of seaplanes that do not have a reverser:Is it possible to use any tweak or trick to "pushback" (or should I say "row-back") the aircraft when it is on floats?I bothers me that one can not go right to the shore line, pick up the passengers and than start off again.Any chance to use the "UPPERCASE+P" trick when this aircraft is on floats?

Hi,Could some one help me, if this switch works at all, how to get it to work.I prepare a flight plan which and once loaded it appears in my GPS screen, but prefere not to use the GPS (imagine it failed to work!). I would like to use instead the CDI to follow the GPS flight path as there are no VOR stations available where I'm flying. I flick the switch but nothing happens; and this situation is particular to this aeroplane as it seem to work on other crafts.Thank you for your help

This one is done on request for sky 6. This yellow and red livery is made from a photo showing only a part of the aircraft. Additional photos have been hard to get (I don't even know the ID of this aircraft). Well, based on what I was able to find out (from similar photos), I finished the livery. I also applied an ID which belongs to an other Skywagon. And finally, she's got a logo on the tail. The N8209U - made for the bush! :( ....and yes. the livery will soon be uploaded to the AVSIM Library(More shots in the screenshot section)

Hey guys. I've got an issue where during takeoff roll in the skywagon, before I rotate, my plane seems to forward slip while still on the ground. It happens every time, even without wind. Now, I understand p-factor torque, but as you apply right rudder to counter act it, shouldn't the plane face the direction it is rolling? What happens is that, after applying right rudder and compensating for the leftward drift, and finally tracking straight down the runway, my nose is pointing decidedly to the right. Another words, I'm tracking 12 o'clock but my nose is pointing to 2 o'clock. Seems to me I'd shred my tires every other takeoff if this was RL. I've tried locked tailwheel …

I have had the C185 installed for a few days and I have run into something strange. With everything set for start up (as far as I know) the engine will crank, however it will never catch. I can go to another AC and start it and then change back to the C185 running and the engine will continue to run. I can then shutdown and the engine will re-start normally. Even stranger, I can then exit FSX and restart and go to the C185F and it will start as it should. Yes the gas is turned on and the master switch is turned on and the mixture is rich. Though not in the C185, I have a bunch of real time in Cessna AC but it has been a while. Even if it may embarrass me, please point o…

First of all I have the FSX 206, FSX172 Float and the FSX185 Bush Carenado aircraft and fly the the paint off of them. After traveling through BC Canada and Alaska last summer the one thing that stuck out, with regard to small aircraft ( both private and commercial ) were the Anti-Collision alternating flashing white lights on the front of the wings. We kept running into different Fleets of C208b's using these lights, even Tweto's (" Flying Wild Alaska") C185 Bush Tundra has both Anti-Collision and Strobe lights installed. Now that the lights, and switch's are modeled into the FSX aircraft we laymen in the field have no options of installing these obvious popular light ch…
