June 28, 201213 yr I know about "shift+enter", but that's not exactly what I am seeking. What I am looking for is a view similar to the 337? When flying the 185, it just seems, to me, that the whole "instrument panel/firewall" is too intrusive. Too much "airplane", and not enough scenery! Help appreciated!
June 28, 201213 yr You could edit the aircraft.cfg to give you a higher position from the start, but that wouldn't be any different to that shift key combo you've mentioned. There is payware to set up views and also add effects, but the planes with the high panels will stay planes with high (IFR) panels.

Oh well, not the end of the world, I suppose.
August 23, 201213 yr In my opinion poor visibility and "Too much "airplane", and not enough scenery!" is what we get when we fly a tail dragger. That´s the way it is with them!

September 19, 201213 yr Track IR. Many folk recommend Track IR AND EZDok but I haven't got the latter yet. BTW I have the Bush version of the 185 so I know what you mean. Even the C172 has quite a high panel .....compared with inferior brands.... ^_^ Track IR is expensive but it's as near to reality as you can get and I never fly anything without it. Some folk don't like it but it's very "tweakable" so perseverance is the key. For me it was fine "straight out of the box". Geoff Geoff Brown
