FS2CREW: GENERAL FORUM

After installing FS2Crew and MakeRwys.exe the aircraft views don't work any more with my EZdok camera settings. Everything inside the cockpit is normal but the tailview for example is missing everything except a bit of the top of the fuselage. Can anyone give me ideas about what to try? I have uninstalled FS2Crew for now but the problem is still the same. Maybe MakeRwys has changed the files somewhere.. The P3D "views" show the aircraft from outside ok Should I try re-installing EZdok, or is there something simple I should try first? I've had FS2C just a few weeks and am loving it. I use a slightly modified version of SOP1. Is there a way to stop my FO from putting the transponder on STBY during after landing procedures? VATSIM likes Mode C on all taxiways and ramps. I can't seem to find the config setting to change this. Thanks.

Hello When I make a key assignment for Fs2Crew K, D, F in P3D4, these are not saved until the next time I open P3D. How can I avoid this little annoying moment? Regards SEFEH

Captains, We've just updated the NGX-U version of FS2Crew to V1.3! The big thing is that British and Australian users can now keep their speech recognition setting to ENGLISH UK or ENGLISH AU, whereas before they had to use ENGLISH US. This provides for better speech recognition for users with British / AU accents!

Hello Just wondering if it's possible to disable the passenger boarding sounds (AS Airbus Pro version) ? I've been using some alternative GSX sounds which I really like and would ideally prefer to continue using these ? Regards

Afternoon, Any chance you could make updates to FS2Crew non-compulsory? The FSLabs updates from 1.2 to 1.3, and now to 1.4, have forced me to quit the sim after 15 minutes of prep, having already got boarding underway. It's really frustrating to have to quit and start again. It wouldn't do any harm to notify us of the update being available but allow us to install it at our convenience, would it? It just feels like I spend more time updating software than flying as it is, without being forced to do so having already put effort into getting a flight underway. Cheers, Filbert

Hi, I am looking at getting a gaming headset, mainly to reduce noise when I want to turn the volume up at home. I notice that the advice for FS2Crew is to use a USB device, but I have noticed that there are very few actual gaming headsets that have USB connections. I am actually looking at a wireless headset, the Sennheiser GSP370, and that comes with a USB dongle for connection to the PC. How would this headset go with FS2Crew? If I was to go with another gaming headset that had jack input only, would that preclude the use of FS2Crew with that headset? Does anybody know how to activate PTT button for FS2crew voice ? Microphone stays on and keeps listening I have read forums about caps lock button etc... but microphone stays on without caps lock these assignments are ment for PTT use in multiplayer sessions I just want the microphone to listen for voice instructions, only when i push a button, possible ?

Greetings, I thought I would recommend a pattern checklist for FS2CREW. The main purpose of this checklist is to facilitate RADAR and Traffic pattern work. The above checklist is from one of the jets I currently fly. The checklist only includes items that are necessary for multiple approaches and pattern work. This keeps you from having to pick through after takeoff, descent, approach and landing checklists when you are only going to perform approaches and pattern work. I may be tripped for asking this as it may have been asked but down the road....like really really far down the road after QW releases the 787. Would or could there be an FO('s) for it? They just release a pre-lim manual so the actually bird cant be far off. Thanks.

For some reason I could never seem to get the simple dialogue correct with UGCX and had to keep referring to the manual. If you use voice I have now updated the Excel spreadsheet to include UGCX. It still includes all of the following aircraft. To make FS2Crew work with the new A321 pack, all you need to do is run the FS2Crew FS Labs Airbus Config Manager, and "enable" FS2Crew for the A321.
