	After years of only using FS2Crew button controlled I decided to give the voice control a chance. I trained speech recognition tool, often three times and I use the Fenix version.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	When I read the checklists the FO does not react to most of my phrase. I checked what the control window to see what FS2Crew has recognized and the recognition is correct, the correct phrase shows up, yet the FO does not react.
</p>

<p>
	The problem starts with the Cockpit preparation Checklist. Up until Baro Ref everything works, but as soon as I answer the Baro Ref with the QNH setting and say xxxxQNH I get no confirmation from the FO and the checklist does not progress.
</p>

<p>
	It then continues with the Before Start checklist. The V Speeds string is correctly recognized as I can see in the control window yet the FO does not react to it, neither does he to my "closed" to the Window item, even though it says in the string that a "closed" was uttered by me.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I use the newest version, that was released a just about yesterday and I use the new speech recognition method.

	<span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Hey Captains,</strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	We’ve just pushed significant updates across multiple FS2Crew products (PMDG 777, 737, iFly, Maddog, CRJ) – and you won’t want to miss these!
</p>

<p>
	<strong>New Speech Recognition System</strong><br />
	The additional speech recognition option that was previously exclusive to Fenix has now been rolled out to the rest of the FS2Crew product line. You’ll find it on the Settings Panel.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>iFly 737 Improvements</strong><br />
	We can now pull far more data directly from the aircraft – meaning you no longer need to manually enter values like before. This is a huge step forward in usability and immersion. Just make sure you’ve got the latest iFly 737 host aircraft version installed.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>As always, grab the latest versions using the Product Manager.</strong>

	<strong>FS2Crew NOTAMS for Saturday, August 9th!  ALL READ!</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>The Animated FO and the Fenix BFU:</strong><br />
	Today, we pushed out multiple updates.  The Change Logs are viewable via the "Change Logs" link in the "Critical Links" section on the FS2Crew website.,
</p>

<p>
	The most significant change is that the "Animated First Officer" for the Fenix Airbus now works with the recently released Fenix update (BFU).  Happy times at FS2Crew
</p>

<p>
	Use the FS2Crew Product Manager to update.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>The mighty Animated FO for the PMDG 777:</strong><br />
	In preparation for the Animated 777 release, we've also updated the PMDG 777 version with fixes and improvements.
</p>

<p>
	We're doing a final test on the Animated 777 FO before launch, and we expect to release it early next week.
</p>

<p>
	I'm sorry for not getting the 777 animated FO out early.  The Fenix BFU update diverted us.  Also, PMDG keeps releasing new 777 models, and we have to support them all, which takes time.
</p>

<p>
	The animated FOs are extremely complex and time-consuming to build and maintain.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>IMPORTANT NOTE - FS2Crew Legacy Website End of Life notice - 31 December 2025:</strong><br />
	The old "FS2Crew Legacy Website" will be taken offline on December 31st, 2025.   This website is used for people who own very old FS2Crew products created before the year 2020.
</p>

<p>
	Yes, amazingly, there are still people who use FSX and P3D and still use FS2Crew. Some FS9 holdouts are lurking about, too.
</p>

<p>
	Me, I'm still on Solo Flight for the  Commodore 64
</p>

<p>
	At any rate, it's impossible to maintain the old Legacy Website due to technical reasons.
</p>

<p>
	So if you own an old FSX/P3D FS2Crew, download your product now via the Legacy Website and store it somewhere safe.
</p>

<p>
	The Legacy Website is available via the 'Critical Links' section on the FS2Crew website.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Server Improvements:</strong><br />
	We recently upgraded our server, so you should see better download speeds, especially if everyone is pounding the server at the same time!
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	Have a lovely weekend!<br />
	-Team FS2Crew
</p>

	<strong>FS2Crew friends,</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Just a friendly reminder:  We pushed out significant updates a few days ago.  Please check the FS2Crew Product Manager to see if you're current!
</p>

<p>
	The Change Logs are available on the FS2Crew website in the "Critical Links" section.
</p>

<p>
	These updates correct basically all current known issues (until SU 3 is released, that is!  Then we have to re-check everything again because Asobo keeps changing things, especially the tools used to make the animated FOs  )
</p>

<p>
	These updates delayed the release of FS "3" Crew for the 777.   Our 777 animated pilots should now be out in about 1.5 weeks, assuming no major hiccups in the meantime.
</p>

<p>
	Enjoy your weekend, FS2Crew friends!
</p>

<p>
	-The FS2Crew Team

</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		There's an option to show/hide the Second Officer to match your tastes. This is our first FS "3" Crew in a way. There's no interaction with the SO. You can't chit-chat with him.<br />

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		But he's there. Just pretend he's one of those 'strong-silent' types!<br />

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		Our modeler thought it was weird that when using VR, you can't see your own legs/body when looking down.<br />

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		It's like you're the invisible man.<br />

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		So he gave you virtual legs and a new body.<br />

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>

<p>

	<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Voice Control - Big Improvement!</span></strong><br />
	<br />
	You no longer need to set your Windows Display language to English!
</p>

<p>
	For example, you don't need to set your Windows Display Language to English if you're German, French, or Spanish.  You just need to download the English language pack.
</p>

<p>
	This makes things much more convenient for our many users from outside English-speaking countries.
</p>

<p>
	(Note: We still have to update the ATR version with this new change.  That'll be coming soon.)
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Animated FO for MSFS 2024 SU2!</span></strong><br />
	<br />
	We've recompiled the animated FO's for MSFS 2024 SU2.  This should resolve any issues some users experienced, like floating sunglasses in SU2.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	<span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Other bug fixes and improvements!</strong></span><br />
	<br />
	Please see the official FS2Crew Change Log page for more info (available via the 'Critical Links' page on the FS2Crew website.)

	<span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Animated FO for the PMDG 777!  Our first FS "3" Crew </strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	The 777 animated FO version will also likely have an additional surprise feature VR users should like... Stay tuned.

<p>
	Have a lovely weekend!<br />

	<span style="font-size:22px;"><strong>NOTAM:  FS2Crew for the iFly 737 Max8 has been released!</strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Product notes!</strong>
</p>

<p>
	This product is a direct port of FS2Crew PMDG 737 SOP 1 made to work with the mighty MSFS 2020 <strong>iFly 737 Max8.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	It should work 'out of the box' with the "MSFS 2024" version of the iFly 737 when iFly releases it.  The FS2Crew Product Manager already has the 2004 option enabled.
</p>

<p>
	Some FMC data could not be read directly from the iFly aircraft (such as V1, VR, Transition Altitude, and Cruise Altitude.)
</p>

<p>
	That said, you must manually enter the takeoff speeds on the FS2Crew Departure Brief page since we cannot auto-populate those fields at this moment in time.
</p>

<p>
	However, the good news is that the FS2Crew Team made a request to the iFly developers so we could pull this FMC data directly.  They agreed, and in the next iFly Service Update, we should be able to pull the takeoff speeds, etc., directly out of the FMC, thus saving you the trouble of manually entering the takeoff V speeds, etc, in the Briefing panel.
</p>

<p>
	A big shout out to the iFly developers for helping make FS2Crew integrate better!
</p>

<p>
	SOP 2 and 3.  Is that coming too?  Well,  if we do an SOP 2 or 3 depends on market forces.  We'll see what the demand is like for SOP 1 to see if it warrants the development costs associated with producing SOP 2 and 3.
</p>

<p>
	A 5 euro discount coupon code is available for our loyal user base.  Get 5 euros off using the code:  <strong>IFLY737</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Have a nice weekend!
</p>

<p>
	And enjoy your new flight crew in the mighty iFly!

	Hello,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have tried using the FS2crew but to no avail. I followed the <a href="https://fs2crew.com/fs2crew-voice-control-setup-help/" rel="external nofollow">https://fs2crew.com/fs2crew-voice-control-setup-help/</a> tutorial, changing my os language to English-US, trained my voice via fs2crew voice training tools, disabled voice access when running FS2crew, I don't have Kaspersky nor Nahmic and asus sound studio on my pc, disabled Open Mic mode but still nothing works. If anybody knows how to fix this on Windows 11 24H2 I'll gladly take the hint.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks !

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		1. We've enabled the Leonardo Maddog for MSFS204 in the FS2Crew Product Manager. We know the Maddog doesn't officially support MSFS 2024 yet, but apparently, it can be made to work.<br />

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		2. A major update for FS2Crew: PMDG 777 was released a few days ago! Use the Product Manager to update! The Change Logs are on the FS2Crew website.<br />

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		Currently, we're focusing on updating the current FS2Crew product line with bug fixes and improvements in the name of standardization across our product line. The goal is for your experience to be uniform across all products.<br />

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		So keep that Product Manager on standby! You'll be using it!<br />

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>

	</div>
</div>

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#080809;font-size:15px;">
	<div>
		We're also working on a secret project that's quite different, but it's a secret... Mum's the word... We'll see how it goes...<br />

	<strong><span style="font-size:26px;">FS2Crew Weekend Update - Feb 16th 2025! - All Read!</span><br />
	<br />
	Product Manager updated to V2.0.18</strong><br />
	<br />
	Change: We added a user request so the position of the Product Manager is saved on the screen.
</p>

<p>
	If -and only if- you cannot update to V2.0.18  (it should auto update) or if you encounter any other error with the Product Manager, please do a clean re-install of the Product Manager.
</p>

<p>
	To do that, follow these steps:
</p>

<p>
	Make a backup of your "pm_status.json" file located in Roaming folder described below.  This file records which FS2Crew's you have installed.
</p>

<p>
	Delete:
</p>

<p>
	C:\Usersuser name\AppData\Roaming\fs2crew-product-manager-installer-v2
</p>

<p>
	and:
</p>

<p>
	C:\Users* user name*\AppData\Local\fs2crew-product-manager-installer-v2-updater
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	Re-download via the "Downloads" page on the FS2Crew website at: www.fs2crew.com
</p>

<p>
	Restore the backed-up "pm_status.json" file.

<p>
	If you accidentally forget to back up the "pm_status.json" file, it's no big deal. You can just go ahead and reinstall your FS2Crew's again through the Product Manager.
</p>

<p>
	Important: Just so you know, if you cannot delete any of those folders because Windows says they're in use, please ensure the Product Manager is not running.  Open your Task Manager, and end any instances of the Product Manager running (blue airplane nose icon).

	<strong>Animated FOs for the MSFS 2024 Fenix and FBW:</strong><br />
	<br />
	As you know, we released the animated FO for the MSFS 2024 FBW and Fenix Airbus.  You can download them via the Product Manager if you own them.
</p>

<p>
	We released them as "experimental".
</p>

<p>
	MSFS 2024 really changed everything for the animated FOs.  Very little was backward compatible with 2020.  So they required massive surgery.  We've invested much more time in them than we initially expected.  MSFS 2024 really is a different animal.
</p>

<p>
	We hope to have the final versions out next week!
</p>

<p>

	<strong>PMDG 777 version - V1.1 update status:</strong><br />
	<br />
	Once the FBW and Fenix animated FOs are final, we'll push out the PMDG 777 V1.1 update.  Hopefully, that'll happen next week as well.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	Have a lovely weekend!

	PMDG B737-800 allows the user to set the startup states from 'Cold and Dark' through to 'Engines started'.
</p>

<p>
	I prefer to hone my FMC setup, takeoff and landing skills and so prefer to start with 'engines running'. Will FS2Crew allow for that automatically and not go through all the startup procedures?
