  2. check out my web site, when you can not find real flyers to join you, I made up my own, using AI planes and JOINFS. Multiplayer on FSX does not allow AI planes to be seen by others but JOINFS does. SEE fsxflywithmanyaiplanes weebly com website for all the details

Hello everyone, Although I am currently busy developing my next paywareI am studying what other projects I can develop for the community in the future, after a couple of days of research I feel confident that I can develop an add-on that can implement share cockpit capabilities for the PMDG, initially I would start with the 737NGX. But before I adding this to my project queue I would like to know how viable commercially speaking the project would be, in other words I would like to know how many users would be interested on purchasing such add-on that would enable these capabilities. Please feel free to vote in order to let know if you are interested. B…

Hello. I had ALOT of issues with my Aerosoft CRJ 700/900 , but after messing arround with it I have finaly been able to make it work. But plane itself is huge step up from my previous one. I have experience with GTN 750, but FMC and navigation with it is causing me trouble. I made it fly, after some hassle I even made it keep stable altitude and heading. I do not expect too much problems with landing, but I would like to do it propperly. Anyway. I am looking someone experienced with plane itself, FMC and procedures to help me learn it propperly via shared cockpit on some of servers out there. I am mostly on default scenery if that matters. Feel free to send me…

Hey all. Can someone help me please get this working? I'm trying to host my own session on my computer and have a friend (not in the LAN) connect so we can share a cockpit in the A2A Cessna 182 (as of now, and at some point others). However, each time they try to connect, they can't find it in the menu and or if they try to connect directly it doesn't work. I haven't got it to work.

My friend and I like to join cockpits and followed the JoinFS manual by the letter. But after things are set, there's no Enter Cockpit button als the manual says, no matter what we do. We have flown together with JoinFS in seperate aircraft without any problem. We both use version 1.4.3. Who can help us out?

  11. I know the basics, have everything setup, and can fly solo on VATSIM (FSX). However, I am still making mistakes and I believe that flying with someone and just watching them will help me a lot. If you wouldn't mind flying with me, please add me on skype : awesomedude7128 Thanks

  12. On Saturday, November 25th I hosted the Annual Flight Simulation Web Conference (2017). For those of who you who were not able to attend you may watch an unedited recording of the broadcast below. I'm mentioning this because the focus of this year's conference was Shared Cockpit, and there are some big things happening in the Shared Cockpit genre of our hobby. Subscribe to either the OVPA Facebook Page (see my signature below) or Youtube channel for notice of Part 2 of the conference. Best wishes.

  13. Hello! My name is Jack, and I have hosted the US Central multiplayer server and Teamspeak3 server since FSX was released on Steam. I would like to inform everyone of our group, which exclusively uses joinFS as our multiplayer client! Our group welcomes players from around the world to join us in either our Virtual Airline or Military Operations. We are very friendly and urge newcomers as well as seasoned flight simmers and real pilots to join us! We encourage learning and engagement! We no longer offer any sort of ATC service. If you would like ATC service, please use one of the popular 3rd party programs out there, such as Vatsim. Top Reasons to Join Our Gro…

  15. Hi there, I am quite new to all the technical stuff with FSX so forgive me if some stuff I say isn't quite right or wouldn't work but basically I am looking for someone that would be interested in doing shared cockpit flights with me with online ATC (I haven't done that before so need some help) and overall have fun flying. I am only 15, but I am passionate about flying and want to be a pilot when I leave school. I fly with a few mods and I am not sure how these work on multiplayer. My main plane is the PMDG 777LR/F and I also have a JustFlight 737-200 but I havent ever flow it as all the dials scared me . I have a few other payware planes but they are yuck so I dont…

  16. Updated October 7, 2017 Updated Shared Cockpit Airliner List Below There are many terrific aircraft in flight sim, but as far as many experienced flight simmers are concerned the two best aircraft (fidelity, realism, performance) ever developed for desktop flight simulation are the Majestic Dash 8 Q400 Professional and the Leonardo Fly the Maddog MD-80 Professional. The guys at Leonardo did things with the MD-80 back with FS2004 that nobody else did until Majestic released the Dash 8, but even the Dash was developed under FSX (and then P3D) and Leonardo did these things under FS2004! Of course both these aircraft are Shared Cockpit capable! The Maddog was …

  17. Have successfully loaded P3Dv4. Am having problems with the shared cockpit facility under the Multiplayer function. If my partner hosts the session then I can join his session and we are able to swap aircraft control back and forwards between us. If I host the session, although we are told he has joined the session AND joined the aircraft, this is not so. In this mode he does not see any of my control movements. Also when he changes radio frequency or transponder code they move in "my airplane", but do not move in "his airplane". It appears there is a connectivity breakdown. We have checked the port forwarding (all as recommended) and have also tried switching o…

  18. This is a breakaway post from a Shared Cockpit discussion taking place in a thread in the PMDG Forums. I created this thread to prevent deraining the other thread, which was about Virtual Cabins. DISCUSSION CONTINUED Going back years ago I had several private message sessions with Ryan about this. First it was something he said they were planning (his words Rob) but then things changed. Then later it was something they wanted to do, but things changed again. Then he posted openly that the programming for shared cockpit was too much work, their wasn't any documentation in the SDK, etc., etc., etc.. It's just that (at least then) the folks at PMDG (or at least R…

Hi All, I am somewhat confused Is this program being supported or not? If so - where so? I saw a couple of posts saying the owner has moved on but then new releases have appeared since??? My main problem at the moment is getting a reliable connection. When a friend and I try to fly together he can see me all the time however it is random whether I can see him or not. Anyone have any ideas? I am running Prepar3d V4 he is running V3 Cheers Harry

I know this question should be asked on the CIX VFR forum but I can't get in there if not a member and I can't be a member unless I know the answer to the following question! (Is this a Catch 22 situation?) Does anyone here know if CIX allow p3d members as from their it blurb seems that they only allow MFS? Silly situation to bother anyone here but would appreciate an answer.

  21. I'm interested in starting a weekly IFR training session on my sim. This will be all single-engine aircraft. I do this to maintain proficiency in real-world flying my SR22. I'd like to do shared cockpit flights with other pilots. I figure I can learn the most flying with others. I have P3dV3 and Xplane11 and am pretty proficient in both platforms but I am not proficient in shared-cockpit having never done it. I am a real world private pilot with instrument rating and about 800hrs. I realize the sim cannot be logged but I learn a lot on my home sim regardless. If anyone here is interested in scheduled IFR shared cockpit sessions please respond here.

  24. Hey, guys and girls I'm a 38 years old man from Norway who have a passion for most things aviation related. I have been flight-simming for around 10 years. I'm looking for mature people who share my passion that would also like to share cockpit and do some short to medium hops to various interesting airports. I dont have any experience with cockpit sharing, but maybe you do. If you dont, we can probably find out of it together. Let me know! I'm on prepar3d v 3.2.3. I guess the most interesting airplane to share is Aerosoft's A32x-A31x, or Majestic dash8, but I'm open to suggestions.

Hello, A question for those experienced in shared cockpit ops.. We use the FSX-SE built-in shared cockpit facility for training on VATSIM. Works marvellously well for the most part, except all VATSIM traffic is duplicated for both users (in other words -- both pilots are seeing other nearby aircraft twice). I can only assume it is FSX-SE picking up aircraft that have been injected by vPilot and injecting them separately across the multiplayer session, but I can't seem to come up with a way around it. Any thoughts? In FSX Boxed it was possible to eliminate this by ensuring that the host connected in vPilot as an observer, but this doesn't seem to work in SE.…
