The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This is second leg of our flight across Eastern Europe, here from Warsaw to Berlin. For this portion we have chosen a beautifully maintained and privately owned Ilyushin Il-18. Crossing the center of Warsaw This part of Poland and the bordering portion of Eastern Germany have as many lakes as Michigan Finally we have reached our destination Harald, most probably you have for FS9 a better representation of Berlin, but I think that the new upcoming Orbx Germany will come with a very detailed Berlin too. At the plane’s right side one can see our parliament building and below it the Brandeburg gate Now both are behind th…

Some Stunning French Photo-Scenery Freeware created by Scott Harmes. Remember everything in FSX/P3D is not Orbx/FTX and there are some other choices with photo-scenery...and some is free! Can you name the cities/airports in these upcoming pictorials? Darryl

Caught this shot while I was checking out the new Orbx Open LC North America. I'm just a few miles from my RW home and over the Highland Scenic Highway in Pocahontas Co. WV. Early fall scenery. The real thing is almost this colorful at times. JETLINE-3202-2016-aug-9-004 by dan george, on Flickr

Hi there! I did quite a lot of flying with ASCA and AS16 during the last two weeks, but most of the time, the weather has been quite fair in Europe! ;-) Today, on ym IVAO flight, I had some spectacular windy and cloudy weather during departure from Innsbruck! The screenies may look quite nice, but seeing it in person and in motion, is so much more immersive and beautiful! I really love the look and feel of AS16 and ASCA (real wx mode in AS16 and full dynamic mode in ASCA)! It enhanced my P3D experience significantally, and it even gave me a slight boost in FPS! Here you go:

I did this flight last Saturday night, but when I saw today the fantastic Moscow screenies of HL, I redid the first part of my flight in order to include a few Moscow screenies myself. I hope, HL, you do not mind. We take off in the venerable Tu-154 from Vnukovo (UUWW). Vnukovo is the third largest, but oldest airport of Moscow and can handle, after being upgraded in 2003 and 2010, some 30 mio passengers annually. It is located around 30 km south-west of Moscow’s city center. This part 1 sees us making a stop-over in Warsaw, capital of Poland. Tomorrow we will continue the flight to Berlin, but in a different plane. The Red Square wi…

In the Galloping Bubble! Does about 200 ktas if you really push it. Not great for IFR, no real attitude indication, and the NAV1 radio doesn't seem to work. But there is a GPS and it will show your the direct to track if you enter a fix. And there is a XPNDR along with comms for online VFR fun! Superb visibility from the cockpit

Virtually, that is lol I had a choice - go above the clouds and maybe get stuck on top, or go below and barely maintain VFR through the murk. All the fields along my route were reporting VFR so I decided to "man up" and descend under the cloud layer. I flew this online and I'm not going to lie, it was really a white knuckle sort of flight. A couple of times I slowed down because I could barely see the route ahead. If this were real world and I wasn't smart enough to turn around I would have asked for an IFR (and probably declared) and climbed straight up through the murk (well not straight up, there's no JATO lol) I went from WHP to SBD and essentially foll…

I've been testing a few settings trying to find alternatives to sharpen up P3D, thought I would share some pics...I'm using DSR 1.5x, P3D HDR, and a few Reshade Sweetfx settings, what I'm most impressed with is how Reshade has transformed my MSE 2.0 textures by adding more color and depth. Wish you all a Happy New Year.
