The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Our flight sim club event for the month of August is a flight into KFFA Kitty Hawk NC in honor of National Aviation Day. My take off at dawn from KMGY Dayton OH honors the dawn of aviation and the dawn of a new day. JETLINE-3202-2016-aug-3-003 by dan george, on Flickr

Mexico City to Tijuana I always wanted to visit the Baja California. I was a couple of times in San Diego, but never found the time to head further south. Now for the first time I do, in P3D. But instead of starting in San Diego, I started in Mexico City to see how the new ORBX Open LC NA has transformed this part of the North American continent. Well…but see for yourself I love it, when big iron has to line up behind me Over the north-western part of Mexico City Further north near Durango (not the one in Colorado, we are still in Mexico J) I decide to deviate from my flight plan and head west instead. I want to reach the Baja California at its sou…

Enjoy as I depart Big Bear City L35, my flight plan takes me out over the Palm Desert and past Thermal VORTAC, and points beyond! Hope you don't mind sunset shots - I think the sky looks the best (and lately it's the only time I can fly!) I've seen this sky in real life - realism Taxiing in to Landmark while passing my favorite part of the airport

While we wait for a extremely nice looking glass-cockpit Lear60XR (http://www.airdailyx.net/fsnewsbreaker/2016/7/30/prepare-to-be-blown-away), I decided to take the next best thing (imo) up on Pilot Edge. Van Nuys, CA KVNY to L35 Big Bear City (resort town I suppose). Carenado's Hawker 850XP is still pretty nice externally, sounds and flight modelling. I've opted for the famous Bert Pieke GTN mod though to aid in my online experience. Where to next?
