I was browsing flightaware looking for active B744 flights that I could simulate tonight and I came across KLM9865, which ealier flew EHAM-KORD and then flew KORD-KMHV. I'm assuming this is a retirement flight heading for the boneyard, which i've never simulated before, so it was an easy choice as my simulated flight for the evening. Parked on the ramp at KORD. I wasn't quite sure where this should be parked, or frankly why they stopped at KORD, I would think an empty B744 could fly non-stop EHAM-KMHV? So I started off at a cargo ramp. Scenery and Bella Coola airport: ORBX Fiat G12 airplane: freeware FS9 P3D 3.4 It’s still fairly early in the morning when we got clearance for take off in our 1940s Fiat G12 Trimotor Everything went fine until I saw this bank of clouds in front of me Oh oh…. Took my new A2A Skyhawk from my hometown airport in Enid, Oklahoma (Woodring Regional Airport, KWDG) to Stillwater, OK (Stillwater Regional, KSWO), where I go to school at. The short hop let me figure out how to work this plane, especially its autopilot. KWDG scenery is stock FSX where as KSWO scenery is from ORBX NA Airports Freeware. On the ramp. I'm no Ray Marshall, but here's some quick text and 20 screen shots from P3D v3.3 of the really incredible XP Lear 25D! I wasn't sure after looking at their site (shots don't do it justice!) but I purchased, and read the entire manual, and set out for a cold and dark startup, followed by a departure from Duluth to a VFR climb, and then finally went high for FL450 with some 40+ kt tailwinds for 500+ kts over the ground. If you don't like reading, but you're ok with analogue bizjets (the GTN750 will fit in the panel I'll put the mod here I made), this is the bizjet to own guys!
