Pulled the actual GTI flight off Flightaware, going from Hahn to Fort Bliss as GTI14979 Finished the preflight walk-around....getting ready to climb the stairs and say goodbye to German soil. Looking down that long fuse, checking the tops of the wings and generally just admiring the beautiful Queen. That's my seat way up there in the cockpit! I've just installed 30Gb of 1mtr res photoscenery of a large area around lake Garda in northern Italy. Complete with mesh, I think you'll agree, it is stunning scenery for P3D and FSX...

Spent it beating up the North Atlantic in my new Sea Harrier - guests of USS Nimitz. Plenty of VTOL's and non Cat T/O's. Lots of shots. I'll post in the Screenshot section soon. This is as much fun as I've ever had in FSX - in 15 years or so! - I was whooping out loud. The Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 are going to gather dust. This one sums it up. Thank you Microsoft. Flying the QOTSII and happen to get a nice visit from a BA 744 (AI) for parallel approach. Doesn't happen often for me, so it was nice to see, even though the BA was way too fast on final, lol

Took a little flight over northeast Australia today in the FSL A320 in P3D. I encountered a little rough weather along the coast.

This is why I am making the switch from P3D! Other than $40 for the A350 all the scenery is free. I hope you enjoy these shots. I've seen these views in real life too, and I really think XP11 and Ortho4XP is a match made in heaven. I'm trying some new art controls presets too. I still think things are a little too blue but maybe I'm just used to MSFS from all the years hehe. I've just departed KDLH NNW towards Hibbing, MN KHIB in the recently completed Cirrus Vision Jet. I've climbed to 10,500 ft as it makes a really nice point to do some picture taking from. You can see the taconite ore mining (it's a low grade iron ore product) in progress around Hibbing and Eveleth, MN KEVM.
